It probably won't come out today because they are still testing with the recent exp they pushed. Trust me, I am so ready for this patch and it seems like this will the first big step into being able to play this game all the time. Before this patch there wasn't much a reason to play because persistence was not enabled. I still played the heck out of the other patches though but this one will be the one that makes me want to play every chance I get.

If you don't know how to enable the launch parameters than you probably don't have any to erase.

This is an amazing interview to listen too. If anyone has ever complained about DayZ they need to listen to this. If you care about the future of DayZ you need to listen to this. It talks about the problems with Alpha, roadmap, and upgrading the engine. It is really nice to see how the devs see everything now and how they go about things. They need to go more public about their views on issues with the game. It is really nice to now know what the dev team expects and what I should expect. Thanks Hicks!

My problem is that they haven't even given us any info on it. They gave us updates for the past week and then the day they had to push it they cant tell us anything. I would just like a, "Sorry guys, gotta wait a couple days." just so that I wouldn't have so be disappointed everyday.

The ping issue is only seeing servers in the Server List. When you join a server it will play just like before.

I can possibly agree that AMD CPUs are not that great but I have to disagree with the GPU. I have ran with AMD GPUs since I started PC gaming and will stick with them for as long as I can because they love the community way more than nvidia. I have had a 7950, 280x overclocked, and I'm going to buy the Fury X or Fury X2 when available for resolution over 1080p. I have always been able to run games at full graphical settings except for ARK on Epic. I know Nvidia cards are great but AMD GPUs are just as good. Now to actually talk about dayz. I never get below 30fps in cities like Zelenogorsk or Novo and when I'm out of those cities than I get 60+. This in part because of my 3930K overclocked to 4.5ghz and not because of what brand of graphics card.

Yes, I believe more people are talking about the game instead of playing it. I know I am one of those. I have loved DayZ since the beginning and thought I would stand by the devs on every decision they made but this has gotten out of hand. I have played .55 for a week and I was able to survive but I believe that is only because we had our old characters still. I F11 when my cooking pot disappeared (http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/223368-i-gave-up-on-dayz-055-humor/#entry2244423) though! I liked the fact that if I wanted good loot then I HAD to go to military where people were ready to kill. Now you can just find all the loot you need except for food in the middle of nowhere. I know that they said they will fix it but I don't know what their "fix" is. Is it spawn rate or the location of loot. I think both would help with finding food.

I have made all of them and if you have camo pants and shirt such as TTSKO then I would go Ghillie top but if you don't then go full. The full will make you overheat even more and with this patch .55 I would choose none but if you must then go with the ghillie top. Bush rag is just to small and you might as well wear a backpack.

You need to use 8 rocks on the fire to turn it into a stove before you start the fire. Then you attach the frying pan to the stove and start the fire. Also make sure you drag the items on the name of the fire and not the grid so it doesnt get ruined.

Yes, i have seen them. On both private and public. I never saw any loot on them until private was allowed to use non-persistence.

My friend and I were dying and we finally got the necessary items to start a fire and start living off the wild and this happened... I am not here to complain about anything in 0.55 because everyone is aware of it. 0.55 is perfectly fine except for the loot spawns and they are already working on that.

I like everything about the new zombies but you should have the ability to run away if necessary. Im not saying that it should be easy but be plausible. I mean i didnt run track to run with humans but the possibility of running away too, lol.

My thing about .55, everyone says that this patch will bring people to work together more but also the opposite can be said. 1: Why share the loot when I can have all of it to myself? 2: If good loot is hard to find then why should I not get a headshot if possible and loot you. I mean trust me, I love when me and someone I don't know work together because of the experience but I dont see everyone seeing it the same way. People work together when something is rare and some people get defensive when something rare.

Yea, I don't know how no one knows how. People are asking if they will implement another way to do it in the loot economy topic and it even seems like Eugene doesn't know about it because he is just saying they are thinking of other ways.

I believe they implemented the loot economy this early because they need data so they can change it and experimental isn't going to cut it. They need people to play like they would on stable. Most just join the experimental and look at the cool stuff and log off. Plus this lets all players get used to the new way of life and we will look back on this update and say, "If we could survive .55, we can survive this patch."

It doesn't get deleted it just gets moved to the appropriate place: The Graveyard! 1: Tents do work now. Since this update! 2: You can light a fire with more than matches. Hint: Try road flares.
