I don't know about you but almost every time I go to NW or Balota I end up seeing people. Just yesterday we killed 2 people at NW and backed off another fight just after that. Then we ran to Cherno to meet one of my friends and saw 2 people along the way ( didn't shoot at). Then when we got to Balota we killed three people on the Airfield. So you saying there is no action is a lie and it is even better to get into fights in the west because everyone has good gear. First group all had AKMs; the second looked like they had a AKM and Mosin; and the last group had two M4s and a Mosin all decked out. I prefer being In the west because I hate killing fresh spawns or even people that just got a gun. I don't feel good about it or have any fun doing it. -
If they add in a stamina system, that will help make the map feel smaller atleast. But to answer your question they do have plans to expand the map in two ways. Just taking the map and add more stuff to it or walking to the end and you transition to another server and the rest of the map.

I'm sorry I can't be very specific because I'm not home and I had this problem with my 7950. But you need to change either objects and/or shadows to very high. I'm sorry if it isn't correct but this is what fixed mine when I had everything else on Very High. -
I believe you can just fix it by hitting the "-" on your keyboard. You can also double hit and it will stay zoomed out.

Not Here To Complain About Rubberbanding...Exp build.

Okay, we all know that rubberbanding is a huge issue and is being worked on and im okay with that. But i dont understand why they can't just push the patch to stable and remove what caused the rubberbanding because im sure ALOT of players would enjoy to have all the new features and everyone who hates the rubberbanding can just go back to Stable without it feeling like a downgrade. This would keep everybody in stable happy and not stale. I would not suggest this if there were more experimental servers but at the moment almost every server in the US is full half the time. -

I thought that they moved from client side posititioning to server side positioning and that was the cause of rubberbanding. I was meaning just to remove that feature so they could put the other features like hunting and cooking in stable. -

I bet everybody that read this last year thought I was stupid about Spawns on the East Coast but now that it is implemented into DayZ Standalone .I feel very happy and can't wait to die in the Standalone to spawn on the East and try this out. If you would, for all the people that believe spawning on the East Coast is stupid. The reason why I say this is because I will never live in a city and I will always try to live in a rural area. So shouldn't I be able to spawn up north? Another reason for spawning on the east coast is so every part of the map would used and not just hot zones. Most if not all of the cities would be used to scavenge because why not stop at a town/village that is right next to you and the closest to find food and water." -

Even though you guys threw this topic into a different direction then intended. I want to say that the Devs NEED to put the spawns in explorers favor, like spawning on the east in Solnichny. I have no problem spawning in solnichny or even Kamenka in the mod, I took it as a challenge. I have played this Game for so long that I know this map better the town I live in, PVP has become just a natural accorance to me now and I don't even become nervouse or sweaty anymore when PVPing. The ONLY thing I have now in DayZ to look forward to is Surviving/Exploring/Scavenging like the game is invented to be. I mean I honestly hope and pray every time I go into the woods I hope I get lost and find somewhere I haven't been but it hasn't happened in a LONG time. I haven't suicided once in Standalone and see no need in it. For the ones that just want to PVP and nothing else I feel bad for you and wish you could see it the way I do. There is more than Call Of Duty in DayZ, you just have to make your own story. I know that getting lost and scavenging is not as exciting as getting shot at in a heated battle but once you become numb to that feeling it becomes just like COD, senseless shooting. All I hope that the devs do, for an experienced/devoted player as myself, add more and more to the map, as soon as you added more to north, I went there as fast as possible so would have something to do. Please add more.... -
How about spawning on the East coast instead of the South? This is something that has bugged me for a very long time. The South coast has the two biggest cities in Chernarus, it has an airstrip, the only docks in the map, etc. It's also the only real urban environment in the map, which gives it a very unique playstyle for PvP. This, to me, seems more like end-game content, the sort of place where the high-end teams are going in to try and fight for supplies in the most supply-rich area in the map. Instead, it's used to let bambis kit up with military-grade weapons (firestations), all the food and water they need, as well as backpacks and map/watch/compass (convenience stores), and then throwing some medical equipment on top (hospital). Then if they feel like sticking around, both cities have apartment complexes and rail stations that occasionally spawn all the clothing they could want. Personally, I feel like we should be moved to the East coast, between Solnichniy and Berezino. There is still just as much, if not more, civilian loot. But it's more spread out across essentially a collection of villages close together as opposed to a city like Cherno. The closest military-grade spawn locations then would be either the NE AF, several km's hike through a forest region, or another several km walk along the road to Elektro. This alone would decrease the amount of suicide raids rushing into firestations to try and grab loot. This would now move Electro and Cherno into being late-game supply areas in which you have to be aware of players even more because it actually adds a survival aspect to the big cities. It would also balance the risk-reward of raiding Electro and Cherno, since like I said - VERY high level of loot, no risk. As of right now if you die while you're there, you respawn 500m away. I have never really thought about this and how it would change the dynamic of the map as we know of it today. I would love to have the survival risk of entering Cherno later on in my characters life. If I could go back and tell Rocket where to put the spawns I would and I believe Cherno would be a more sacred city. This would change DayZ as we know it forever!

Why do you run Object Detial on Very Low? I'm pretty sure your rig can handle it.

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit Processor: Intel i7 3930k (6 cores) 4.0ghz Ram: 16 GB Video: Radeon HD 7950 (925 MHz for right now) Motherboard: ASUS X-79 Deluxe Every Single setting is on Very High FPS in cities (on the roads): Cherno: 35-40 Small town: 45+ FPS inside a building: Cherno: 35-40 Small Town: 45+ FPS in the woods/fields 60+ FPS while staring at the sky: 150+ Also what are the components for your build, I can ballpark you an idea of your frames.

I don't know how hard it would be but until binoculars are put into the game we should be able to use either scopes as a monocular. This would make these items very useful even if you don't have the Mosin. It would make a lot of people happy if they are wanting binoculars and you wouldn't have to design anything. Anyone Agree?

I believe the sniper and the PSO scope are at the right "rare" and i believe the spawn chance of the binoculars should be around the same so for me there is no difference. Also, the only reason why I believe they should enable this because either way, with binoculars or not, you should be able to look through the scope without it being on a gun.

Just watched Call Me DayZ by Jack Frags again that i haven't seen in a LONG time. It just got me thinking of the old DayZ and where we are now. I remember when I was scared to enter Elecktro, Stary, and NWAF but not anymore. I just wish it could go back to how DayZ was 1 to 5 months after the creation of the original Mod. Hardly anyone had shoot on sight mentality unless you are up north (which is understandable) and DayZ wasn't just for PVP. The feel was just different than it is now. But i guess my hopes are to high and i better be ready to have my gun up at all times in the Standalone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sS1wzdlu-WM Anyone agree?

Everytime this has happened me and my freinds have passed out. I have ate everytime it has told me and it still happens. My friends have even defibed me aswell and it wouldnt wake me up. If you must take painkillers then that is rediculous because i have been to three hospitals and not found one painkiller. Also understand being passed out can last a long time but is it glitched to where you can wake up? But what do I do about being Dizzy and Pounding?

So you think that kinda stuff happens all the time? No it doesn't. The reason why I like it so much is that I can build a proper base and hide all my crap inside without someone taking all my stuff while I'm offline. Another reason why is you because you have more guns, clothes, and backpacks. Not as much as Overwatch but that is a TDM mod. Also the traders are a nice touch with the currency system. -

Ah, I dont know what Dick is up your ass, probably your chicks dildo. But i was just stating what can happen and going off what information you gave me. I know multiple people that can hack into a servers admin client and even ban them from their own server. So you need to quit with your tuff guy persona.
