    i don't have a laptop ,but my friend does and he always has to set games to use full power of the hardware available to it. so make sure you tell your laptop to not try and save power while you play day z.

    nice review, i have not played 1.7.7 much yet, but before this the zombies were a complete joke. not a threat at all. although i think they do need to clean up some stuff.

    im pretty sure it was made to combat hackers. just look for servers with admins that are not 12 yr old kids.

    down grade to OA beta patch 103419. the new OA patch makes fps really laggy.

    play origins dude! I was quite sad when i purchased dayz and noticed everyone shoots on sight. But recently ive been getting into origins and if you play as a hero u are alot less likley to be shot on sight by other heros. also its fun hunting down the bandits, just make sure u remember what all the bandit/hero skins look like.

    http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/137689-arma-2-beta-patch-105785-causing-frame-drop/ it might be because you have the lates OA beta patch installed and that makes the game crazy laggy. roll back to 103419 this has some useful tips in aswell.

    anyone else having really bad fps stutter/lag recently? i cant remember if i noticed it starting straight after the patch or not but now it seems every server i try to join the lag is unbearable. a few days ago it was fine. I updated arma through dayz commander.
