    Your first kill

I once saw a player going at it with a zombie (lol) and I shot a warning in their direction. The bullet hit the zombie (totally epic for an accident) and the guy put his hand up and told me he was friendly. He came at me with his axe and I popped him twice, that will teach that jerk.

    Your first kill

My first kill was three days ago, I had a bandit corner me in the berenzio police station. He told me I had two choices, come out with no gear on (a trap I knew) or he would breach and clear. Obliged for a fire fight I told him try it fag. As a hero I didn't fire at him until he fired at me, shots rang out, he was at the bottom floor. Shooting up near me, second floor, bullets went right by my head. When they stopped I leaned around the corner and popped him in the back of the head. He fell unconscious cussing me out the whole time. I bandaged him and handcuffed him. My hostage, the bandit, later took another bullet. I had shot him with his own gun, what's your move bandits?
  3. The ultimate way to get gear in dayz is to know the town you are in, make one town your "home". Always try to take on a town with a police station, hospital, apartments, or a market store. First place to start off is to take in your surroundings, ask yourself where did I spawn? If you see a huge construction building, avoid it and take cover, running around it will bring you to a chain town with all of the above buildings. To loot buildings be safe, police stations are high traffic and I have come across many players in them, some looking for a fight others friendly. Loot in a crouch position (x) and stay quiet. Stores can have food and backpacks, apartments with clothing, police stations with food and weapons, hospitals with weapons and medical supplies, industrial areas with bags and melee, and office buildings with guns and ammo. Check cars ALWAYS police cars have ammo spawns very often, trucks have guns and ammo! Enjoy this short and sweet loot guide.

  7. Some weapons/gear I would want are things to communicate to another player from across the map so we need to find something for that at radio stations...
  8. My thing is i don't like the whole point of view.. It's sorta a 'where am I??' When I first start out, you could add something to describe just HOW you got to this hell on earth situation. Otherwise greatest zombie game ever.. FYI my brothers birthday is July 24 and I'm really hoping i could get him the best game ever... Dayz
  9. Green Mountain is a large hill to the northeast of Zelenogorsk. Differing sources state that there are either 2 or 3 ATV spawn points at the top of the hill near a small complex that consists of 2 low-level lootable buildings (one industrial, the other military). The primary point of interest at Green Mountain is the radio tower which is by far the tallest building in Chernarus, easily visible quite far away. Because of the good visibility of the surrounding area offered by the tower, it can be home to bandits and survivors alike. Zombies spawn near the complex, but since Green Mountain is far removed from any other zombie-populated areas, players will more than likely be able to get away with using guns to dispatch them without alerting other zombies. Stories often circulate in game and on DayZ related forums about Green Mountain being haunted. Popular stories include Bigfoot, and that the previous inhabitants were murdered and have returned to the physical realm as talking zombie ghosts. None of these things have been confirmed.
  10. Hey guys, I have been playing dayz for a few weeks and have gotten a pretty experienced player. Here is my guide to loot successfully and effectively. Here I will explain how to stay in the game and keep your tail up high in five steps for each loot site. --Barns/deer stands-- 1: ALWAYS check your surroundings. Think you are being followed. 2: Stay low, don't get found, don't be stupid. Pretend every moment could be your last. 3: Go slowly try to get past any zombies, you can go pretty close to zombie while prone. 4: Have a backup plan, things go south quickly in dayz main plan is loot one main/secondary weapon and some food, water, and ammo 5: GET OUT OF THERE, in this game I have found you never stick around, it's pretty bad luck Small houses in towns (Only one step) 1: AVOID THESE YOU WILL MAKE TOO MUCH NOISE GETTING IN Chopper crashes 1: MOVE SLOWLY, a sniper may be watching at all times 2: Crawl around the whole thing so you can find everything in the crash 3: Take only what you need do not grab empty cans 4: Move slowly away from the crash 5: Run off into the woods when at a safe distance Big houses inside town 1: Loot fast and stay down 2: Loot quickly but watch closely don't try to miss anything 3: Watch your step, stay away from the rooftop and windows 4: there is not loot on the roof skip it and get away from it 5: let the tension cool down before going back into town Outhouses 1: look every where in them, their small 2: Check to see if you can grab only good things 3: Move out quickly and only make a sound 4: stay low when approaching hills near the outhouses 5: enjoy the loot you just grabbed

Is it worth it? (Looting guide)

Well the comments are no longer thank-you's but rather rude and pointing out my simple mistake. I'm still asking for questions though
  12. Lag is bad, and on green mountain is is horrible which kills you slowly and painfully.

Is it worth it? (Looting guide)

This is in the new player forums to help them out, slow is the key. You have to check every corner. I made a problem there by saying to move slow, what I mean is dont flat out sprint... Give it time and crouch or go prone to not be killed by a sniper trying to get kills

Is it worth it? (Looting guide)

Well true i will add thanks for saying something!!- This is what I have found to last me and help me survive very well here are my personal tips on what to grab and is it worth it? - As Tajjuk said razors are useless! - Water is the best in the long run soda should be a 'right here right now' thing because you can fill up empty water bottles at many different water sources - When in a barn try to get two hatchets if there is no firearm, use one and have the other in the tool belt - Anywhere try to find a new bag. With a better bag you can stuff more things in - here is a is it worth it moment you see a double barrel shotgun and you have a lee enfield... I would keep your lee enfield because it makes the same amount of noise as the shotgun but can hit at much larger range. - If you see a silenced weapon, yeah it's worth it their not common. Hmmm what did i miss.... Oh yeah the TOTALLY not worth grabbing -empty whiskey bottles -razors -empty cans -etc... Some 'have to have' items are my personal favorite -C4 -Grenade -Silenced weapons -Snipers -Gille suit -anything better than coyote patrol! -ammo -food -water -pain killers -heat packs -bandages -(only with friend) Blood bag

Ok guys you got that part wrong, stay in a crouch to move a bit faster but always check every corner for loot, go quickly, don't do anything stupid...

*Update* Hospital 1:throw a can at the glass to break it 2: hide until tension cools down 3: run in and loot very fast, don't stop 4: watch out zombies are everywhere but so is loot 5: escape ASAP a player might be coming next Medical tents (Three steps) 1: move in fast but without being seen 2: keep your fat head down it could be blown off any second 3: escape quickly and quietly, so you won't get spotted. Tell Me If This Helped You Loot The Buildings That You Have Wanted To Loot. Ask questions about other buildings or loot and I will try to help you out!!
