Odd, I got it to work without premium... What problems are you having? If you need to, I can help using Teamviewer if you are up to it. I use Teamviewer a lot with my customers as it's a no-brainer, does not need to install, and changes the password automatically every time you use it. Shoot me a PM is you want to go that route.

Here is a free solution. http://www.equalify.me/?page=main It is an addon for Spotify. I downloaded it and it works. Just right-click on the EQ interface in Spotify and choose Options --> Change Sound Device. Hope this helps.

Since the headphones are set as default, then all non-music sounds come over the headphones and the music will continue to play over the speakers. Spotify cannot be set to a certain device at this time. It has been a feature request for over 3 years. It will use whatever is the Windows Default Device. However, not all is lost. Here (http://www.fidelify.net/) is a Spodify Client that allows you change your output device. However, Fidelify requires a Premium Spotify account (bummer).

AIMP and WinAMP will solve the problem for you. Here are the steps: 1. Set the headphones to be the default playback device on your system. 2. Set the playback device on AIMP/WinAMP/etc to be the soundcard or other specific device other than "default" 3. Play music on AIMP/WinAMP/etc 4. Play DayZ 5. DayZ sounds will come over headphones and CD/MP3/etc will play over speakers. 6. Problem solved. Remember, work smarter, not harder.

You would have better luck finding a audiofile playback utility that would have device specific outputs than DayZ doing it for you. I just checked and here are a couple that I found: AIMP http://aimp.ru/ WinAMP http://www.winamp.com Or were you trying to playback DayZ "Music" over the speakers and DayZ "Sound Effects" on the Headphones?

There was a mod (can't remember which) where you spawn by being parachuted out of a plane.... Mix this with location choice (or randomness with no location text). How about spawning from a random car crash which would explain your loss of memory (how did I get here again?) btw, where did "1.7.7.8" come from? Wouldn't this be 1.7.7.2? I guess it could be 1.7.8. -

Better question: Why do I need a container at all in order to take a drink from a water source? Why can't I stick my face in the water or use my hands to take a drink? I understand the need for a container to store water, but one should not be needed to take a drink at the source.

I was just watching you (R4Z0R49) in twitch and several Zeds were chasing you as you got into a Huey. They then stopped just feet in front of the Huey and stood there while it warmed up and took off. Shouldn't they be attacking?

It is perfectly OK to interchange SD and normal ammo between guns. The main benefit of using a Suppressor with supersonic ammo is that the suppressor hides the muzzle flash (not really a problem in DayZ) and it is very difficult to determine the shooters location since the suppressor hides the "boom" of the rifle.

How would a Zed smell anything considering their feral, infected (in addition the zombie aspect), gangrenous, crapping their own pants 24/7 nature? If anything, the flies should be following them around.

Yes!!!ETR will go up for a hollowpoint/fragmented round, but be severely diminished by armor. Armor piercing rounds will have a lower ETR (compared to a hollowpoint) but be less affected by armor. It would be up to the DEVs to come up with the ETR & LDM formulas, but it would allow for a realistic ballistic model.

If they would use a ballistic calculator based on real-world numbers, then a lot of these issues would fix themselves. Impact energy is based off of 1/2MV^2 Damage to target should be based off of Energy x ETR (Energy Transfer rate) x LDM (Location Damage Multiplier) ETR is based off of how fast a bullet's energy is transfered to a body (formula needed). Hollowpoints do more ETR since their cross-section is greater. LDM is based off of how damage affects a body's location (formula needed). A headshot transfers a greater proportion of damage than a leg shot. Bullet drop, time of flight, impact velocity, and bullet drift are all part of real-world calculations. So the only thing that has to be created by the devs is the ETR & LDM formulas. Once that is done, weapon & ammo combinations along with bullet travel and damage are easily calculated & tweaked.

Tents (and stashes) do not last forever. They last 7 days after last touch for live players and 4 days for dead players.

I just did a transfusion ok but only tried once. loot & Zed spawn delays seem to be gone also FPS is a little higher Nothing negative to report so far that has not already been covered

I was thinking that they should be roaming around, just not agro'd. Having a zed just sitting there motionless for a while seems.... weird.
