    Combining 3 tent & stash cleanup scripts into one: DELETE FROM Object_DATA USING Object_DATA, character_data WHERE Object_DATA.Classname IN ('TentStorage','StashSmall','StashMedium') AND Object_DATA.CharacterID = character_data.CharacterID AND Inventory IN('[[[],[]],[[],[]],[[],[]]]','[]') AND ( (character_data.Alive = 0 AND DATE(character_data.last_updated) < CURDATE() - INTERVAL 4 DAY) OR (character_data.Alive = 1 AND DATE(character_data.last_updated) < CURDATE() - INTERVAL 7 DAY) ); Not sure if your engine in 100% T-SQL, but it should work.

    That looks like it only deletes after 7 days have passed without anyone visiting the tent. Are you experiencing something different? If that were T-SQL then it's missing parenthesis around the "OR" sections like this DELETE FROM Object_DATA USING Object_DATA, character_data WHERE (Object_DATA.Classname = 'TentStorage' OR Object_DATA.Classname = 'StashSmall' OR Object_DATA.Classname = 'StashMedium') AND Object_DATA.CharacterID = character_data.CharacterID AND character_data.Alive = 0 AND DATE(character_data.last_updated) < CURDATE() - INTERVAL 4 DAY; DELETE FROM Object_DATA WHERE (Classname = 'TentStorage' OR Classname = 'StashSmall' OR Classname = 'StashMedium') AND DATE(last_updated) < CURDATE() - INTERVAL 7 DAY AND Inventory = '[[[],[]],[[],[]],[[],[]]]'; DELETE FROM Object_DATA WHERE (Classname = 'TentStorage' OR Classname = 'StashSmall' OR Classname = 'StashMedium') AND DATE(last_updated) < CURDATE() - INTERVAL 7 DAY AND Inventory = '[]'; Without the Parenthesis then the DATE & Inventory filters only apply to the last "OR" which was "Classname = 'StashMedium'".

    The goal is not to make it "easy", but realistic and to use common sense. As a fresh spawn, why should I throw away a rifle in order to use a hatchet since I do not have a pack large enough to carry the rifle? Why can I sling my rifle across my shoulder to use a pistol, but I have have to stop, kneel down, take off my pack, un-sling my rifle, move things around to store the rifle & it's ammo, maybe move things to my inventory to make room, maybe have to drop some stuff to make room, move a melee weapon into the primary slot then put the pack back on.... all to use a melee weapon?

    The animations and process should be identical to switching between your Primary and Secondary. 1. Scroll the mouse wheel to the Melee Slot 2. Click 3. Your character animations shows your current weapon being holstered (if Secondary) or slung over the shoulder (if Primary) 4. Melee weapon is drawn from your the left hip There you go, problem solved. The motion and timings are inline with current gameplay & RL and the is no instant Melee weapon. I don't see where anyone could have an issue with this.

    Drinking non-purified water, especially in the context of a ZA where there are no government services to provide clean water, would increase the chance of illnesses IRL and infections in game.

    and When you say that loot won't change, are you still addressing the massive delay when entering an area before you actually find loot or zeds (never thought a moaning zed would be music to my ears)? I've long been wanting 3 ready weapon slots, a Primary, Secondary, and a Melee slot. I really hated having to drop that MP5SD in order to still use my Hatchet in combat (I had no pack large enough to carry the MP5).

    Only thing that I noticed, apart from what was already talked about, was an issue with an AS50. I was at the Northeast Airfield and found one (on the ground of the second floor landing) in the control tower with a pack of ammo next to it. I tried to pick it up, but it said not enough room and disappeared. I think it was supposed to be an RPK as the ammo pack next to it was for an RPK. Either that, or a legacy AS50 was dropped.
  16. They have talked about (at E3) following the Mincraft Model of release (Alpha-Beta-RC-Gold) as revenue model. This would strongly point to an all-open or widely open alpha, otherwise there would not be much revenue in it for them. I know what me and my CC will be doing at alpha launch. :)

  19. I find it silly that a M1911 mag takes as much space as a 5L fuel can (1 slot) and a M1911 pistol takes up as much space as a 20L JerryCan.

    Besides the obvious issues on the demo that will be addressed (everyone jumping, un-synced attack & damage, etc), the issue of Zeds running indoors has to be addressed. IMHO there has to be somewhere that has a chance to slow them down a bit. Even if it's just to pass through a door, climb a staircase/ladder, turn a corner, etc. Maybe they should loose traction and fall possibly taking out Zeds around them. After all, they are mindless & infected beings that likely don't get enough sleep and crap their pants all day long (causing slippery feet). ;)

    What I have seen: Love my hatchet.... Sorry, had to be said. I just wish that I did not have to pass up a MP-5SD, M-16A2, and 2xAKMs to use it (I had no pack large enough to store). We really need three weapon slots (Rifle, Pistol, and Melee). Things I like a lot: --No more broken legs for no good reason --No more Zed hits through walls --Combine Mags, although I wish they would stack as well.. I mean really, a single Makarov mag takes the same space as a 5L Fuelcan but a pistol takes up more space than a 5L Fuelcan? --Slow regen of health from food --On Knockdown.. if it's a serious issue for you... Survival, you're doing it wrong ;) I swear, Patient 0 must have been a Bloodhound because once a Zed has you in his sights, it's damned hard to shake him, even running through a forest at night. I actually ran for a while through a heavily forested area (for 2-3 minutes), then turned around and turned on the flashlight. There was the Zed about 100-150 meters back weaving between the trees running in my direction. I don't see Infection, in and of itself, as a major issue but I am having trouble finding antibiotics. Luckily I found two cows in the same field... otherwise I would have been dead. On the issue of loot & Zed spawns, there seems to be some serious delays. I strolled off a mountain and into town at night, total silence. I went over to the hospital, totally empty. I went to the supermarket, totally empty. I walked around for 5 minutes or so before I heard something that was music to my ears... the sound of a moaning Zed. It meant that spawns were happening. The Supermarket had food and I found one antibiotic (but no Morphine) in the Hospital which was a Godsend since I was down to only 3 of my original 12 Beefsteaks. Yes, I tossed a lot of gear away to carry all that beef. ;) Other than the Bloodhound Zeds and the delays with spawning, I am liking 1.7.7 a lot.
