    Oh dear.... It's been a million new players for months now. Not only do the forums here provide info but also there's plenty of YT info out there. If you can't be arsed to look up info on a game ur playing then I don't give a shit about banning u for using an illegal weapon. If they're that put out by it they can email us (and just to make it clear I am talking a different server to the OP - the 2 aren't related) and we can make a decision. Try running a server sometime before you shout your mouth off about what admins should or shouldn't do.

    I'm not one for "balance" per se, I don't think anything needs to be balanced when everyone has a chance of getting hold of the same gear. Choppers however are not available to all, only a few. I wouldn't care if the canopy was actually drawn in from the sky but right now, it's ridiculous. As for maintenance, not every flight, that would be way too often but choppers are complex machines requiring specialised maintenance (and we're not even talking about finding someone who actually knows how to maintain the vehicle). People shouldn't expect to have the most powerful vehicle on the map AND have no maintenance AND be able to see through trees.

    Sorry, never been killed from a chopper so stick it back up ur ass where it came from ;) Seeing stuff on the ground is easy when you have 2 guys in the gunner's seat looking for you (and not too hard when you don't)

    Not a shot by me but possibly the worst shooter in Dayz - I was crouched picking up something and hear someone behind me. Bang..bang..bang.... I turn round and there's a dude 3 feet from me. I'm bleeding but I just think "WTF" and axe him. I break his legs and the zombies he aggrod start beating the shit out of him. I run around the building, kill the zombies and then finish mr shitty-shot off.

    nope a wipe is the best thing. We had to wipe out private hive the other day - everyone complained but after it was done, everyone was on the server running around again looking for gear and enjoying the game. People might think they don't want the SA wiped clean but they'll love it when it's done and basically have to start from scratch and learn the game again

    Waste of time imo. What are you going to do with them - i mean seriously that whistle just gives you away, the dog gives u away. Knowing arma AI it's just going to end up pissing me off having a dumb robot following me around that serves no real use to me. Have they changed though? Last i heard was they can hunt a rabbit and that was about it.

    Unfortunately the chopper will see most things from the air since forests up there are practically see through. Just assume your shit will be found at some point. On one of the servers I play on (private hives) I found that green truck Vs3 i think. Someone had just parked it 100m off the road in some woods. I'd taken it and hidden it in a much better place but it will be found just don't leave ur best gear in their. Always RTB and always log out with the good stuff in ur packs.

    Can't say I've had this experience you're talking about. My tents and vehicles have been fine so far but as I leave them in one spot, I know at some point someone will find them eventually - law of averages. Of course you could RELOCATE your base each day or two but that's too much work I guess. Ur also bitching about a game that allows hacking knowing that the SA will address this. Reading that u already play on private hives i'm wondering which ones since the ones i play on seem perfectly well admin'd

    I agree or take the age of the player on the hive any older than a month (say) ban for using an illegal weapon. By not banning is almost condoning their use.

    Play on our server with a hacked weapon and I'll ban you immediately. By using a hacked weapon you are cheating - it doesn't matter how you got it. You know you shouldn't have so you have two choices - Choice 1 - Do not pick up a hacked weapon and suffer no consequences Choice 2 - Pick up a hacked weapon, knowing it gives you an unfair advantage over other players (douche) and risk being perma-banned (and the rest of your group if ur in a clan).
