Perhaps they don't advertise themselves as females OR they're not playing war games. There are plenty of other genres out there other than FPS's.

I can start by telling you my friend started playing DayZ and on one server, because she decided to chat in local was called a few things Attention Whore A dude Tits or gtfo and then just a load of general abuse about how she should go back to the kitchen and crap like that. How do you feel about females playing DayZ or other games in general? Do you go out of you way to help/kill suspected female players? Do you think girls can hold their own in games? Does it scare you when a girl gets behind the wheel in a Ural? lol jokes. I think it's great girls are getting into games and why not? They're meant to be fun and challenging after all. The biggest drawback for most girls is they don't necessarily want to play war and a lack of female characters to choose from might be a factor too. I would be more inclined to trust a female player - women tend to be more into working things out rather than racking up kills and are more mature so personally, I'd love to get hold of that black SUV and get 5 of you bitc....haha j/k Most definitely and why wouldn't they be. Guys might use their wrists a lot more but that doesn't help out with hand eye coordination. There is no reason why girls can't be as good as guys at gaming (and I know a couple that would kick the ass of most people) - since the physical attributes are no longer an issue, it's all about skill with the mouse and working out the game. As long as they don't make me spill my beer they're good ;)

Agreed get rid of the dogs - really? What use are they going to be, what are they going to add to the game that requires all the work they have to put in. Agree that they should just work on the SA, looking forward to when it comes out. WarZ update: Beta is released but no one can play it because the game keeps crashing but zombies are super tough.

Yes they can it's a bug. I had it on my version of dayz. Revolver and 1911 (btw they both do the same damage) both 1 shot killed zombies. My friend can do it now. Something didn't update client side and as a result, it kept the damage. I reinstalled my dayz and have the nerfed gun so yes, there are people out there that still do the original damage with these weapons.

G17 - it's the only gun that will kill you (or the m9) it does 889 damage against 1389 of the revolver or the m1911 so do the maths. Unless you get a headshot, ur ass is grass.

lmao yes once you find one item (except watches always seem to be everywhere) then they seem to show up everywhere unless you don't have that item, then it's a bitch to find one.

Definitely a no on security but as for hiding spots, there's not actually that many because of the way the game renders things. If they could fix this then objects would be a lot harder to find.

No they can only see the marker if you set it in side chat. In vehicle only people in the vehicle can see it. Direct chat anyone in range should see it and group is anyone in ur group (which u don't have afaik)

If you want an increased FOV double tap ur numpad - key. I'll use 3rd person if it's available but personally I like being able to choose. Given the choice however, i'd choose to have it off since to FOV option is there anyway, there's no argument left on that (not to mention the markers on the edge of the screen). If you feel sick in 1st person idk about that, most FPS are first person and I never hear anyone complain in those. Ultimately give people a choice, that always works well.

The best tactical advantage would not to be engaging people in the first place. Since you are wasting bullets on people you're not even going to loot (I assume this is the case), then what is the overall point of the exercise?

It's amazing how everyone I ever meet when I have a gun and they don't are "friendly" and yet every time I meet someone who does have a gun they try and kill me right away. It seems most people just want to run to "the" spot on the map and pvp it and for a "sandbox" game where you can do "whatever you want" it seems very limited in what people actually do. The Mod is dead as it is - the engine isn't right for the vision but I'm hoping the SA fixes all of this so we'll see soon I hope.

Zombies shouldn't be spawning if ur on/in a vehicle. If they are, something's wrong (or ur playing on a private hive but even then i don't think this is fixed yet). I currently have the female character (due to an unfortunate click of the mouse) and I have the same issue you do with gear - sometimes nothing spawns except the things you can only pick up via the scroll wheel. As for zombies I'm not sure why you would be getting so many - is this on the public or private servers? Personally I would delete your @dayz folder and reinstall it.

Practice and practice more. It depends how you're learning. First thing you should do is practice real slow. Hover 10m off the ground and then make tiny movements to move around. It depends on how you have your setup - i use a joystick and have the throttle set to analogue. Trick is small inputs to the stick. Remember that when DAYZ SA launches it will use takeon flight model - this will mean reading the manual to actually start the chopper and the flight dynamics will be massively different (unless there is a server option to set the flight model to easy then probably most servers would adopt this I would guess). As I said in my OP they should fix the way the arma engine handles the rendering of objects. I'm not a coder, I have done some programming before but it's pathetic when compared to what's actual coders do. It's not that easy to just go in and change something because changing something can often break something else. So it needs dev time to make the change and then it needs time to test it. Another factor is how will it affect the game in other areas as well. Personally I wish we could have grass rendered out as far as the eye can see. That isn't achievable and becomes annoying only to the player lying in it unless your opponent is in grass rendering distance so you can actually hide in it. I thought they could make it better by thinning out the grass more and more the further it got from you but always having some out there so the guy laying down in a ghillie at 400m looks like a piece of ground cover rather that the "light green background, tree, brown bush, sniper, bunny, tree..." Some people just can't take what they give out or think I actually mean what I say. Most of the time I find it fun to have a go at people but that is usually once I feel they have had a pop at me. After that it's fair game and maybe other forum lurkers enjoy the banter too - certainly keeps things interesting but really, I'm not bothered by anyone here - people I don't know, some I consider cocks, some consider me a cock - who cares.
