Agreed. Having to stand 30m from an object is just ridiculous (And leaves it out in the open) I should be able to pitch it pretty much anywhere on roughly flat land and in a forest so i can hide it (It is meant to be a stash after all and I don't want people finding it because it's in the middle of a field)

Well that's the point, Somali coders work for pennies ;) Joking aside BIS is a business selling Arma not only to gamers but the US and Oz Army (Unless that contract went tits up). I obviously don't know the details of the business but Arm 2 is OFP 3, an engine that has been around well over 10 years and still has not had addressed simple things like getting stuck in doorways or narrow corridors. Something like Dayz which has had a huge following (in it's alpha stage!) is an opportunity, a big opportunity to make some big money. Everyone loves zombie games and this is king (it still needs work to make it a blockbuster but...) Christ even girls are buying arma just to play this lol. Whichever way BIS decide to go, I hope they make a shit ton of money so they can start producing more quality games for the PC. -

Is the M24 better than the CZ? I mean that much better that u'd swap knowing one has hardly any ammo for it whilst the other at least has it fairly regularly? -

I've only ever quit a game when I was blocked in by zombies and they just kept coming at me (this wasn't so much as all the zombies were there, they came at me in small pockets and as I shot them, the whole process quite slow, more zeds kept fucking respawning until i had no ammo and no way out). I did think, "Should I really do this, is it really realistic" but then I did have a can of mountain dew in the pack and that sealed it for me... Other than for stupid "game engine" situations which are rare, it would be nice but can Arma support this? -

I would prefer them to make it a complete new game and get rid of the shitty, clunky arma engine that's over 10 years old. Arma is a military sim, not a zombie sim - a dedictaed game would be tailored for the genre. As long as they left in what makes this good, we could have a dedicated island with dedicated buildings and interactable objects, etc with server sided options that address a lot of the complaints on these forums (Or make it one huge worlld we all play on but FFS, please don't turn this into an MMO - it plays fine just like it is) -
I started playing DayZ and hated bandits, now I still hate them but without them, the game wouldn't be as much fun. That being said, the last 5 or 6 guys I have ran into (Which I had more than ample opprtunity to kill first) have shot me dead (even pretending to be friendly then shooting me in the back). Is this what this game is becoming? Because it's turning into DM with zombie added for inconvenience. So now I'm left with, instead of trying to talk or work with people to simply just kill them outright if I see them close by me and thus becoming part of the problem. At least with the bandit skins we all knew where we stood (and before people start going on how unrealistic that is, the game is unrealistic ok - granted the most realistic of the unrealistic games out there but still, when U can't even lower ur pistol, or even holster it (Add that in, it works in Takistani Life - EDIT: Can u still crouch without a gun, could never do it in arma 1) then that is just dumb. Also in RL you can tell a persons demeanor, in fact there are so many indicators in RL to tell what character a person is the bandit skin compensated for that. It's retarded, people are not going to just walk around a corner and blow ur head off - ADD IN some custom animations maybe and the ability to lower a weapon or holster it?
