Don't play on shitty public servers. Our private Hive server is up and to join it you need to email us your Game Name and we'll email you back the PW. Anyone not on our guest list who somehow manages to get the PW will be banned, if they cheat they will be reported to BE (and we will have all the evidence for it) and obviously a new PW will be mailed out to the actual guests on our server. IM me for details if ur interested. So far we've had about 18 responses to the posts I made.

The options suck. If it's a bandit then KOS, if another player it depends on distance and cover and how many are with me and how many are with them. I'm going to shoot if we come round a corner and he's in my face but if he's 30 meters away I might try talking if I have good cover. generally I don't shoot on sight because i'm not prone to crapping my pants as soon as I see another player however judging by the amout of times I have been killed when i meet a player, close encounters will cause a KOS approach.

Unless u were a complete asshole most of ur life (that does NOT include running a red light or making a prank phone call - jeez u bad boy you), ur fine :)

Thanks Panda, Hope you found the server to be ok. We've had 18 responses so far and was good to see people in the server so soon after posting. Email us if you want in. we're still working on things server side so expect to see a few server messages popping up soon every hour or something and make sure you read ur emails and respond if we contact you. We're not a dictatorship and are open to suggestions (we may even hold specialised events for our Guests - so keep an eye out for emails and let us know what u think). We still need more people - server cap is 40 and if you could add the times ur likely to play (don't forget ur timezone) that would help us out as we don't want to get 80 people sign up and have only 40 be able to play. If you add ur times that u play, we can work with those to try and make sure the slots get used effectively letting everyone get on and not have to wait.

Thanks to the 18 people that have emailed us so far - if anyone is interested email is for the PW - we need your in game name (with ur clan tags). Only people on our "guest list" get in meaning no hackers or if they do, we'll just roll back the server to a previous save and Ban them after reporting them to BE.

Why wouldn't they (And how is this offtopic) Since the Dev's have broken vehicles and tents, we've abandoned our public server for something that works. The fact that we are PAYING for a server and administering it better than any public server (which the DayZ Team OR Battleye cannot do effectively) and we are promoting the mod, what exactly is the issue here?

I would love to put all u guys to work on the mod and have to address the media and work on getting things fixed and then come here and listen to you all bitch - i think you'd be thinking - fuck u lot, we'll tell you something when we HAVE something.

I love the way people who pay for nothing and do no work towards something think they can complain about it not working.

I always put gear in empty tents, like a meat stake and a can of drink in case someone comes by and finds it and I too come across tents and vehicles a lot. I've found 5 tents in a church in electro and even a tent pitch out in the middle of the ocean lol - i dunno how they managed that one. Most tents i find are empty though.

We have 2 servers, one private and one public, both called 2335 - we kept the name to keep clarity and yes, as the title says, this one is a private hive server.

We're opening our server to anyone that wants to join. You will need to email us for a password, including your username so we can keep track of who is meant to be on the server so we can admin it efectively. We are banning the use of choppers and have taken measures to remove them from the game. Anyone found using a chopper will be banned from the server. Also, we don't want players hording vehicles as we want vehicles for people to use. This doesn't mean you can't have a few vehicles, but hording say 10 vehicles is not on (we will find them and drive them to random towns or destroy them). Barbwire griefing will also not be tolerated - you can lay it down for tactical purposes but to aggro other players is not acceptable. If you're interested, email us at [email protected] and we'll reply with the password and server rules that you will agree to when joining the server. We'll do our best to admin it fairly and we will not shoot you on sight (promise) We will however make you act out the deliverance scene if u start being a dick. Jex

Nobody cares if you play the game or not. If you don't want to be part of the development stage then fuck off and wait for the game to be released. Nobody is forcing you to play but no, instead you have to have the Dv's personally talk to you and update you. Yes the game is buggy and it's irritating but it's not even beta yet. These guys do have jobs so why should they have to update you on something your getting for free again. Go develop your own mod then and come back when you know what it's like.
