    Hey, Played this mod when it got released all the way up to when hackers started becoming a problem. I haven't played for over half a year now and I have been looking forward to Day Z stand alone however it is taking longer than I thought so would like to give this another go in the hope that its better. My main question really is that is there a lot less hacking now and what main points have changed? Cheers!

    Well as long is its close to Vanilla im not too fussed, I just want an even playing field and somewhere I can play without being constantly hacked. Extra buildings and more vehicles I don't mind. Another questions, whats the difference with DayZ Origins? Whats the deal there.

    So lovely to see the DayZ community sticking together... Sure loads of these posts are coming up, however I still feel his pain. Stop being arseholes to everyone on the forum, this community is one of the worse.

    I am fine with the AS50 in the game. However this bullshit about it requiring skill is hilarious. The gun is plain simple & easy to use, I can pick it up and easily take out anyone without requiring to even think and im sure most of you could too. Keep it in the game, make it abit more rare and once the duping is sorted it will be fine. However don't think that you are skilled in using it.

    The north is dead because I guess people are bored of travelling that far now when everything is happening down south. I spend all my time travelling between Elek and Chern. So many players down here that its easier to get loot here.

    Hey, My mates have started to play the game less & less and I find myself playing on my own. Was okay at first but I enjoy playing with other people in a Team. Im 19 & from the UK (Don't mind playing in any time-zone in the EU). Looking for a casual team who just like to have a bit of fun enjoying the game. I don't mind how well geared the team is or is not. I am very well geared at the moment but because I love risking everything and going into towns to make myself feel at edge this can change a lot. Either message me on here or skype (nichawkins1992). Hope to hear from some friendly people!

    Aye. They did not behave like players, did not have the ordinary skins & also had no information when I studied their bodies. They did not carry anything but a gun & some ammo, not even a bag which suggests a NPC.

    Also just found this weapon on DE 884. A van of NPC's came into elek. Must of been around 5 of them. Managed to kill them then looted there bodies. I found this weapon on all of them. Their skin is different as well.

    Stopped playing for a while as the game run its course with me as I played it every night none stop. However I came back today. Im quite disappointed in the way the games gone in regards to the players. The whole attraction to the game has been killed, there is no longer the thrill of knowing whether someone is going to kill your or not, because you just know they will. Got snipers just camping spawn areas just killing people for the sake of it. Just feels like a massive death match now, there might as well be no zombies. Im sure that this is a post that comes up all the time and I am just going to get flamed the hell out because I have stated opinion against yours.

    Im not bothered by all the PvP, infact I love PvP. However when it is all there is it gets boring fast. Also I've had my fair share of hackers ruin the game for me. It is just a PvP game, I wouldn't mind if that was how it was in the first place. Its the fact I have seen the game decline from what it once was. If you played it back then it was amazing. I can bet that most people who have played the game before it got massively popular would think the same. Im surprised you read & reply these threads if you don't like the content.

    Once you get a gun zombies are not a threat at all. The only reason you are scared of alerting a zombie is not because it will kill you, but because you know it will alert players of your presence.

    Run/Walk Indicator

    Would be pretty cool to have a indicater somewhere which tells me whether im in running mode or walking. Been a few times when ive been in the middle of zombies while prone, then went to crouch and toggled what should of been walk and I ran which resulted in me getting chased by loads of zombies. Then I alerted players and got shot. Seems to toggle itself on and off when you go prone. Happens a few times to me.
