Google the program "PBOView" (I downloaded it from Armaholic), and here's a youtube link that really helped me. There's also a link to the Arma II IDs in the description. As for server addons, I've been wondering the same thing, where the hell do you find them? xD And for the mission file, I thought I knew it but I just found out I have no idea :3 Hope I helped out with the map editing part :D
