No, I said I use the SD ammo for non SD guns. The bug is completly irrelevant for me, because I get spotted anyway. -

Agreed.. Right now my choices are simple: Finding a SD mag, should I use it or should I hope to find a SD gun.. Now they're kinda useless.. Like many other things.. -

Well, especially if you take a bicycle.. I was driving around with one of these in order to repair an offroad and I needed to stop about 200 meters in front of every town, then walk in, look for things and then run back to the bicycle. But it gets worse.. Imagine you're planning a raid on the airfield with a couple of friends, you're driving on the airfield, let your friends get out and then nothing spawned.. you know, you're risking getting spotted by bandits or other groups of surviver and then get nothing in reward.. -

Great Review PurePassion! But I have a little question.. Does Dayz not feel a bit to complicated? I mean, seeing 15 diseases in game, you need to find out whats your blood type before you can give someone blood, if you find the right person, you need to reload magazines as complicated as possible.. You know, after all we still want some fun in Dayz and not only crafting things all the time.. -

Well let me put it that way: Today is was at green mountain again, and took a few stanag mags, about 5(15 left in the vehicle), from the offroad , saved it, and after a server restart all 20 stanag mags were back.. -

As I said afterwards, I found 2 different vehicles in their spawn points, and by now I found 5, each completly broken.. On this server there are about 10 people constantly and I don´t think that no one has found them yet.. And the car was so good hiden it would have taken longer even with a heli than 20 hours to find it.. -

I think so.. I managed to get It from completly broken to whole green.. And after it was gone I went to 3 other vehicle spawns.. At two of them were completly broken cars.. So yes, I guess it is a bug with dayz/arma and the server restarts.. Maybe I should have saved it before each restart, which is impossible for me ^^ -

Biggest disappointment ever. Spent 8 Hours yesterday fixing a Military Offroad at Green Mountain, went 8 times to cherno and back, finally got everyone despite the engine which had 20% left, drove away, parked it in a forest, logged in an hour ago and car was gone. Went back to green mountain to find it at it´s spawn again -.-' ... Even saved it before logged out.. Server restarts ever 4-6 hours.. Why should I risk going into cherno to look for loot for the car, when everything is just destroyed by the arma engine.. Well, before this bug is fixed, I have no reason to play dayz again.. -

Well suddenly I feel like I love you razor (nohomo).. Changelog sounds very good, and after I managed to get to nwaf and back to cherno yesterday without getting infected/hit by a zed, it sounds even better! But be careful next time: -

1. Happened last night, zed aggroed as I was far away, don´t know why, i´m trying to reproduce it. 2. Firestations tend to provocate that 3. Somehow a Zed standing about 5-7 meters away from me in a building managed to hit me, no other zeds aroung noone in the walls or floor buged. 4. The biggest problem is that one of my friends has a really bad pc, so he runs significantly slower than the zeds.. We found out that this occures by other members of my team as well, especially the ones with bad grafic cards. We´re about the upgrade the pc´s and trying to find out if this was the problem. 5. Zeds talking is one of our major problems, because in a close combat area like a small town with only 1-2 lootable buildings, we are trying at our hardest to net get the attention of every zed around so if one of us gets spotted by a zed we need to deal with the whole city.. -

You know what? You´re post are completly pointless. Congrats some of the bugs in the game are working fine for you, but for thousands of players they don´t. And I know that because i´ve been playing Dayz since september last year and I have never seen so many empty vanilla servers before. Zeds aggroing at a long distance, calling their friends to aggro too, hitting through walls, dead zeds coming back to live and infect you then drop dead again, guarding zeds blocking entrys and exits of houses which will cause you to shoot one of the zeds if you have no melee or no time to swap, zeds beeing 5 times faster than the player, zeds hitting from 5-6 meter distance and lots of other bugs happend to me in 1.7.7.1. I´ve seen all of them, trust me they exist and the fact that it´s nearly impossible as a new spawn to clean a heli crash site with 6+ zeds at 200m every zed a headshot, makes this one the fairytale, despite the fact that heli crash sites spawn new zeds in a very fast period. An average player without a camp with tents or cars or helis has like a 0,5% chance of surviving over 4 days. With one of my old chars I managed 90 days in Dayz without even 1 murder. I killed no one and the game was even after 90 days a challenge for me. -

Oh Come on guys! If you get killed by another player he will look for your gear as well. If you get killed by zeds then you need to get them away from your body to get your gear back. Don´t make it more complicated. In the end only the lonewolves or the players without a squad will be disadvantaged.. Zeds eating dead bodies, fine for me but I don´t think they´ll eat a m16 assault rifle.. -

Well, if you think I´m a troll and a hater, than it´s your opinion and not my problem. I like Dayz as it was. Anyway, saying something like 'it´s going to work' is pretty much bullshit. Have you played the game yet? I don´t think so ^^ We all don´t know how it will be and btw. people like me, with my opinion, we make a difference to the game, because not everyone is a hardcore realism player who wants to be killed and cry afterwards(overacting). There are still thousands of players who play the game for the fun it made to them. And I don´t think everyone of them has the time to play the game for hours just to find antibiotics or whatever is needed then to make sure you won´t die after 10 mins. And by 'a proffesional, paid and enthusiastic dev team' you mean a dev team which is working on the game since lets say 8 months since they decided to make the game completly new, whilst bohemia interactive already reached beta in arma 3. I know maybe you can´t compare the two games, but dayz already had most of the things already in it. which brings us to the point that even complainers have realistic expectations because it would be possible to bring a game out after 8 months, with all the features needed for an alpha release btw. My suggestion is we are all just going to wait what will happen when 1.7.7.2 or 1.7.8 will be out, and then decide if the mechanics there work out. Until them we let everyone who wants to complain, make their points and let them talk. In the end the dev team wants to make a game everyone is comfortable with, not just the few people who want a 'brutal' game.. Just to get back to Topic: Razor you got any news on 1.7.7.2/1.7.8? -

You said the game is all about getting infected and finding ab´s, but that´s not everything in the game. The main goal is to survive. Then you can find a car, build a base and so on. It´s just boring getting infected everytime you find something new. -

Well, if rocket really wants to add something that should stop the kos mentality he should add a possibility to find out who killed you and make a reward system for other players like you get killed by someone, you find out who it was, you get some bountyhunters and pay them with ammo or weapons or whatever to retrieve your stolen gear and kill the bandit. -
