Well, than i might suggest something: What do you think about finding a supervirus which turns everyone in zombies and then you can try this 1 life than you can´t be the same person-thing(just to make this clear, I meant in real life). Because if someone who is not you two, tries to play this game and does not have this much experience in it, he´ll die and he´ll will be frustrated to change it´s name everytime he´ll die. And it´s bullshit if you need to choose another name for your character after you die. you know why this is bullshit? because it just doesn´t makes sense. Well it´s totally optional to change your name after every time you die, but forcing someone to play the same rpg-like thing you do is just plain wrong in this game, and please don´t just say everyone who´s not your opinion is a CoD kiddie, because that makes you a CoD kiddie. You know why games like arma are succesful? Because they don´t force you to be someone and to do something. Everything to you make in this game is completly voluntary which makes sense because otherwise nobody would play it^^ Your idea is the equal to forcing minecraft players to choose only one profession. -

Honestly I start to think that dayz will never be released at all. By the time they will be ready to release an alpha lots of dayz-like games will be on the market and dayz will be outdated. The Mod was great, now it´s bullshit. They are implementing things which are not ready. They should take their time with the mod before they release changes, and they should announce changes in both games or what is going on. But after telling everyone a release date in december, than changing it, and after that telling people 'it´s ready when it´s ready' you can never ever ever ever! Tell the same community that you´ll post information about the game next week and then tell them that information are comming when their comming! Do not fuck with the Community if you want your game to be succesful! The Community decides if the game will be played! -

Well, I got kicked in the nuts.. bought the game for 25€ and one week after the game was 15€ again and I got 10€ ingame money.. Never used it.. Shitty game. I played it once, it was awful. Deinstalled after 2 hours. -

1. I totally agree with you in this point, I was thinking I should play Dayz Orignial a bit today, and as is started in elektro I already began to feel that it´s not going to work out. I was looking for a bit of fun and ended up frustrated. 2. Because of the Changes in 1.7.7 I was forced to look for fun in custom versions of the mod, like taviana, origins etc. . And I found the missing fun there. I didn´t enjoy these mods because they were too easy for me at the beginning, but now I´m thankfull they aren´t like the original dayz. 3. Well, after managing to sneak into elektro today I was looking for a bit of not existing loot and after entering a small house with a bunch of zombies I was glad I found a hatchet after 10 minutes of running around hoping not to get killed because one zed spottet me. So I waited for the Zeds to come to the door to kill them and they came. I already killed 2 of them as anotherone approched from behind a hit me. I started to bleed, so I was forced to back up a little bit and whilst doing that another zed hit me and after two hits I was already infected. 4. Before this patch my goal was to not aggro the zeds, even when i had a high tier weapon. Just because I did not want to be involved that much in a fight with them. I got killed by Zeds more often than other players, and dispite of that I had with a 30 days character over 400 zed kills because I knew they were a threat and I killed them before entering the place I wanted to go in. Now it´s just impossible, because if you miss a shot it´s wasted ammo, but you need to have ammo before you can shoot which is not the case after the last update. 5. Just what I was thinking, I mean these zeds are Dead! You can get killed by an Infection, so don´t tell me they aren´t dead! If they are dead, how can their eyes and ears still work this good to tell apart if it´s another zed or a player what they are looking at? And why at this long ranges? How can someone that is dead be a sort of super zed? Why? Did they choke to death on antibiotics and now have rainbow power? 6. Agreed, but you don´t need to increase the damage this much, decrease the infection rate and let antibiotics be this rare, or let the infection rate and increase the antibiotic spawn. It´s as simple as that. Don´t make zeds run faster than the player, because their dead. Their legs won´t be in best shape. There´s no such thing as a zed gym, where they go every tuesday. No, I don´t think so. In the End, Players need thing from houses like Food or Water or other medical supplies. And they need to take the risk of being attacked by zeds. So please, If I´m going to take this risk, why don´t reward me with loot? I mean, I went through elektro without finding any food at all. Why? Haven´t the people who lived in their before the apocalypse not eaten at all? I mean, ok things can be already scavanged, but in that case you should find nothing at all in these citys because I don´t think anyone who scavanges a town would miss something lying on the floor. Which by the way is nonesense, the point of the game is to survive, but you need to find loot to survive and if you wan´t to survive long enough you need to find lots of loot. As mentioned above. It´s frustrating. But the worst is, that every of these cases, like stronger zeds, better zed vision and hearing, higher infection rate, lower loot, less antibiotics, came all in one Update. Really? Are you serious? People complaining that Zeds are too weak and the best Idea you have is just to mess up everything? Do never ever ever(should mean never) make so many gameplay influencing chances before balacing them out! Balancing, have you heard of it? CoD doesn´t have it, Battlefield has it. You know why? They watch how gameplay changes with the different guns. They watch which gun is used the most. Why don´t you watch how many people were playing the previous patches and this patch and how many complained about this and the other patches. Did so many people say it´s too frustrating to play before? I don´t think so. I don´t want to hate or something, I really really just hope you´ll fix things in the next patches to a level where it actually makes sense to play dayz again. There are so many sub-mods of Dayz and I really love the Original Dayz, but not as it is by now.. Edit: Not to mention the Zed I killed who suddenly stood up again hit me, infected me and fell down again without me hitting him again. -

Well, I hope you heard this time on the Community.. Many people complained that it is too hard to play right now, and it often gets frustating, even for me.. I´ve been playing Arma 2, Arma 3 and Dayz for a while and I know how hard it can get, but the actual mod state is ridiculous.. It was a little bit tone down with the reduced zed damage, but still the infection rate is too high and antibiotics are too rare.. As a fresh spawn with two dayz beginners, without military high tier weapons it´s nearly impossible to survive long enough to even make it away from the coast.. and the biggest problem is, that one of my proteges has a very bad pc and can´t afford a good one right now, and this causes him to be slower than running zeds, which hit him while he tries to get away so we need to help him and often get infected ourselves.. I would personally say, that if you would increase the infection chance by other things, like a cold or when you start bleeding because you´ve been hit by a zed with a low chance of infection, that would be great, because trying to help dayz beginners isn´t fun when everyone is infected after 5 mins.. authentic is an undefined term, so everyone can define it like they want, but still the dev teams need to know what the community wants, just because some people complain, that dayz is too easy, it doesn´t mean that everyone agrees if you make it harder, almost impossible to survive. -

To be honest, I like Dayz as it was before, but now? The original Dayz Mod became very 'difficult' to play.. I don´t really like the way dayz is heading with the last update, like come on getting infected after 4 hits? really? I spawned in Elektro went crouching through the city, got spotted by 1 zed and suddenly the whole city is after me.. and this is not really a fun way to play the game.. The last update was supposed to let player think if they kill on sight or team up to fight the zeds.. Problem is, the people who played together for a while and spawn fresh will not be very lucky finding a gun/melee weapon before getting infected.. And the other kind of people who shot on sight, they now shoot on sight and hope their victim has antibiotics with him.. Is this really smart? And the worst thing is getting infected by already dead zeds.. I had killed a zed with a machete, he falls down on the ground and after 1 sec he suddenly stands, hits me and falls back down without me hitting him again.. Please SA and Mod Team, don´t let a game which was fun to play become a game which is 'realistic'. Because sometimes being not 100% realistic is more fun.. I appreciate that the team is taking their time to make a good game, but If the Mod keeps getting worse, than can you keep the SA.. -

Happened to me ,too. I was a few days ago in elektro as a fresh spawn and was crouching through a industrial district between containers and somehow a viral zed managed to aggro when he was looking in the opposite direction. I checked if there were any other zeds in my line of sight, but there were none.. -

Hey Guys, Don´t know if anyone has already noticed that, but if you take a closer look at this pic, you can see some interesting things, like: - Ak has optics mounted, altough it is the standard version, which means weapon customization is now active - there is an extra grenade slot - 2 new Melee weapons - on the left side, there is a little base set up with a gate, iron fences, a guard tower (I believe) and a uaz - 2 Players on the right advancing towards the base - lots of little changes like milk cans and pork If you find anything else in this picture, please let me know below!
