  1. Hey guys I just asked Rocket what the god mode code is and he said it's up, up, down, down, left, right, left ,right, B, A.
  2. The best way to find a decent weapon with minimal risk is deer stands IMO. Most are located at the edge of the forest with the ladder facing the forest, and the zombies spawn in front of the towers out in the open. So you're only going to aggro zombies if you are reckless or very unlucky.
  3. This video is relevant to this discussion, it's Jan Prazak (Arma2 PR guy) going over the basic A2 controls and he starts talking about 3rd person mode at 2:27: If you are lazy here is the quote: 1st person view is no more "realistic" than 3rd if you actually think about it, they both are pretty unrealistic for many reasons. I think people should be able to choose between 3rd/1st person servers if they want.
  4. No sense getting butt hurt about this. Lets be realistic - all that phat loot was going to be lost to a looter or bug sooner rather than later anyways. If you get attached to anything in the game right now you are going to have a bad time...

    balance NVGs

They don't glow like that in real life. Better solution would be for them to require batteries...
  6. I like that people all spawn on one end of the map, it's actually a brilliant design decision. 80% of the crappy players and bandits stick to the bottom portion of the map. Smart players head north immediately once they spawn and don't look back. (The coast has the same loot as anything north, just tons more people competing for it BTW.) As a quick example: In a few hours play time I got the largest pack, M16 with 6 mags, literally more food and water than I can carry, and plenty of med supplies and I have not seen one player. All I did was head north immediately and loot deer stands and barns.

    About spawning with almost nothing

Just don't get noticed by zombies? I looted 6 deer stands and 2 towns and didn't aggro any zombies, seriously it's not that hard. Go prone, don't crawl right in front of zombies, listen to where they are and plan your route accordingly. Also don't hang around the coast, head for the tree line after you spawn and just keep going north hitting deer stands and barns until you have a weapon and some supplies.
  8. Could we have the closed buildings play muffled zombie idle sound effects when we are next to them? So it implies they are locked up and full of zombies? Seems like an easy way to explain so many closed buildings and would add to the atmosphere.
  9. YES Small hints of blood on their hands too, from looting the bodies of the people they kill.
  10. Player ID: 4101318 Name: Mustard If the location resets are still happening I'm stuck in the debug wilderness. Thanks.
