In a video I was watching I heard Dean Hall say something about no cars in the initial release of alpha just to clarify. To solve this problem, I think we should use the work in progress of animals as temporary sources of travel like in some parts of the world. Horses are out of the question for the first year because that would require allot of effort and would not take any action until maybe 6+ Months after alpha since they will be working on core parts of gaming experience. So my Suggestion is to implement a riding system for the animals you have. I know it may look stupid riding around a goat,boar,or cow but that is what the alpha is for right? To see what we should implement in the "Some what Finished version" Of course in order to even ride an animal you would most likely need to find an item of some caliber like a satchel, not a satchel charge,(or put in satchels with explosives in it so you can have suicidal goats,boars, and cows.) Thanks to anyone even taking a look at this and hope we do not have to do a marathon everywhere :beans: :thumbsup:

I was talking to some people and they said that DayZ is a game where you create your own story which everyone should agree on. With Alpha Possibly being released after E3 this month it is good to say that everyone might not be able to do what they "want". I Imagine the crafting system will not be implemented straight into Alpha as it is not what the development team is focused on. They are focusing on the core game and making sure that works. To explain more on OCD I would think it would be something like your character continues moving around items in your inventory to places you might have not put them in the first place as a negative, and as a positive I imagine they would be more tidy with cleaning your weapon or clothing if implemented. Blind Mute and Deaf most likely being temporary like if exposed to explosives or blinding affects. Maybe Staring into the sun to long gives a spot on your screen like in real life or lose hearing or sight in an ear or eye. Being exposed to radiation for certain amounts of time may alter your characters physical looks in some way. Some locations that have been confirmed like the swamp or worn down areas of the map may have high levels of radiation. "To clarify radiation is just an idea, just confirming the locations". We are all excited for Alpha release hopefully this month and everyone should have lots of suggestions and I hope I am not the only one who has waited this long to be able to experience a game with such potential. Everyone has a right to their opinions and everything in alpha is subject to change. -

Some games have perks, but being able to customize certain traits of your character before entering the game would be a possibility. Some Traits may give some positive results and also negative results depending on what you pick. Of course not limiting it to diseases but also maybe physical traits such as maybe longer legs may enable you to run faster but have a negative affect on your agility. Above all I ask of you is to vote your poll, if you wish not it is perfectly in your right. Stand Alone Alpha is subject to change and no content is final. Just an Opinion... Just a Poll.... -

Too add to my first statement, Having some form of transportation is key for the alpha to encourage exploration of not just towns but also woodland areas. Not to limit it just to riding animals but having at least a bike would be great as someone previously suggested. For just the alpha until they work on their focus points like having tons of more loot spawns and more areas to be discovered. Walking everywhere does indeed give you a immerse game play, but not everyone wants to play like that. Eventually they will implement vehicals but we would need something in the alpha to test out. Clans in alpha will be quite more trigger happy if they do not have a reason not to shoot people on sight because in the mod, their goal is to pick their buddies up so they do not have to deal with every new spawn going up north. -

Should we have some sort of transportation in Alpha or not guys? This was just a solution I came up with that would be most likely temporary. It should be tested at least for that is what the Alpha is for. Holding the W key down to get from one side of the map is just boring and the idea of a race between friends to get up north while on animals sounds just plain awesome. The roller Skate on Rabbits just seems cruel. Maybe if you pull a Radagast(The Guy in the Hobbit who uses Rabbits as dogs for a sled.) Seems like a more fun idea. Capturing rabbits and putting them in your backpack and harvesting materials to make a sled. -
