The point of DayZ is staying alive, not have some idiot resetting your live because he thinks that everyone with more than 2 cans of beans and makarov more than a mile inland is a farmer/hacker or whatever. The mission of this game is plain and simple, stay alive by all means possible. I agree that using exploits or hacks is low and unfair, but any punishment or method that would hurt or give a disadvantage to players who want to play honest should be avoided at all time. Oh and by honest I mean that you can still shoot people if you want to, the mission is still stay alive by all means possible, just without hacks or exploits please, but from what I understand the developers are on to that, give them time, the game is still Alpha.

Life of the land, there is enough wild life and water to last for a very long time provided that you have found matches and a axe to chop wood for a campfire. But that would be a bit boring and would have not lead me to a CZ550, MP5 and finally a AKM (from the controltower of the North East airfield, and I got that on my own), I had my doubts when I found a PDW in a deerstand but decided that I would keep my M1911 with enough rounds keep me going for at least a another month at this rate. I still search for cans of beans, because if your blood level is still 12000 you don't need the cooked meat but only a can. Keep that meat for when I really need it to replenish your bloodlevel. Also have enough cans of Soda and cantines filled with water, actually once you know all the water-places you don't need Coke or Pepsi, with 3-4 cantines you always have more than enough to reach the most nearby lake or pond. Oh and I nowadays travel mostly at night, the same goes when hunting for foodcans and other equipment. Wildlife is another matter, it's quite hard to find that in the dark. So my next goals are, NVG's and a Bike.

Head back to the beach near Cherno, drop your gear and get killed, then log off, forever. The zombies with their flawed AI seems to have more brainpower than people who come up with those idiotic proposals, I have been playing with my current character for quite a while now, I would like to keep it that way and not that I have to find out that tonight is worldwide character reset hour and see that 3 weeks of work has been wasted.

Where Thunderdome has been replaced by DayZ.
