Direct chat goes only a few hundred meters. If no player is in that range you won't see that message. Side chat will only be sent if more than 1 player is online. Only Global chat will be always sent to the server. -

v0.9.1 should (hopefully) come out soon which should fix it. There are no downloads for the older versions I am afraid. Sorry, probably won't make an app. Maybe someone else will do it. Yes, DaRT is able to show the chat. However, players need to be in range in order for the chat to be sent to the server. Also you need to enable the chat channels in the settings of DaRT. If you start multiple instances of it, yes. -
Question Regarding Locking Servers During Reboots

Just go for it. @terrorizer33 It's a problem with Arma servers in general. When too many players join at once the server tends to desyncs which causes problems with the Hive and lag for the players ingame. It especially happens on servers running on a bad machine. That's why BEC allows you to lock the server if too many players are connecting. Incase you are running BEC I recommend you enable it by the way. -

Ah I see what you mean now. Not really an issue since you can disable auto scroll in v0.9: Will take a look if I can disable it automatically though. -

You mean like the log? You did disable auto scroll I guess? Didn't have a problem with it for a while but will take a look at it. You would need to modify the Bliss addon which is responsible for the Deathmessages to send the messages via RCon too. Don't ask me how though. Maybe you can get more information from someone else. It's not possible to see who is talking via RCon either. Sure, you can unban him via the Ban list or via the Player Database by just right clicking on him. You are welcome. Let's call it a design issue then. It's not very smart to use a player # for banning when there is some kind of unique ID like the player ID and the GUID. VAC uses the Steam ID for banning too because it can't fail that way. Beside using TCP which is smarter for an administration protocol anyway. -

Sorry to everyone waiting for the new update. I am still working on the new BountyHunt which has a higher priority for me at the moment. Not sure if I will fix it so soon. I will add it to my list but I don't think it is worth the hassle. Will see what I can do about it though. -

Seaking opinion - admin "friendliness"

I think admins should just play like they want, they are normal players after all. Of course the real difficulty is to find an admin which you can trust. That's why I prefer to play on servers that I know the admins on or that I administrate by myself. If you are unsure about your admins abusing their powers you could also create a log file of what they do. Not sure about which tool you are talking about but for example you can log RCon and MySQL access. If someone is complaining you can just check the logs. However, stuff like this is exactly the reason why I don't use tools like TSW because it's really tempting to abuse it if you play on the server by yourself. Instead I use selfmade stuff that does all the checks automatically and informs me about all the violations without showing off any detailed informations like player position, car positions or even player name. For example: Player moved with 600km/h! Since nothing travels with 600km/h it was probably a teleport. -

I changed the color for the side chat in the new version. Didn't notice that it was hardly readable in the last one. Will see if I color the chat inside the all tab too. Not sure about it yet though. -

To prevent kicking temporary you can disable the signature check in your server config: Only leave this in till you figured out why the kick is happening and set it back to 2 after that. -

If you mean if DaRT syncs the ban list for you, no. If you mean if the ban list syncs with the reports, yes it does. The list is already running. Just report hackers. They get reported and added to the list automatically. edit: We got over 10000 reports by now by the way. So thank you everyone who is reporting hackers. -

No, it's supposed to be added to your current bans.txt. There will be an option to ban multiple GUIDs in the next version though. Maybe you can use it for that. -

Did you copy the new DaRT files in the same folder as the old one? Did you delete the old folder first maybe? If your player database is that small it probably got created during the update. -

Yes, DaRT has to be running since the player database is saved locally. Can you verify that there is a player.db in /data/db/? How big is it? If updating DaRT you will have to overwrite your old files or copy your player.db over to the new version. Otherwise your player database won't be transferred. -

Just use the size of the map you are playing on. Keep in mind that not all maps store their coordinates reversed. Lingor for example stores them normal. You will have to check the Y coordinate first. If it doesn't match substract it from the maximum height of the map. edit: It's not necessary to detect teleporting though. You can see movement in the coordinates without reversing them. -
And who is in charge for https://support.dayzmod.com/ ? Appears to be nobody anymore which is pretty sad in my opinion.

That explains the recent crashes. I will upload a build soon with a fix for it. However, problem should resolve itself in a few hours when Trend Micro updates their page ratings. -
