They are in your profile folder/BattlEye. By default this is cfgdayz/BattlEye. You can check if this is the fault by disabling the filters in DaRT. (Show CreateVehicle Log, ...) If your console gets spammed that is the fault.

Ours is still up. However, we would like to move it to a new machine since the one it is currently running on will go down pretty soon. Well, not much support for that so I guess our server will be gone pretty soon. Atleast it won't be public anymore. Too bad.

I can't recreate this issue. Did you enable auto refresh in the right bottom corner? If you mean opening DaRT multiple times, yes. If you mean multiple servers with one DaRT, no. Could not recreate it. Did you try it with BERCon? Anyone getting crashes with v0.8.1? I get some crash reports by a few people with the same error but can't seem to find the reason for it.

The crash issue will be fixed in the next BattlEye server update (v1.171+). Not an issue with DaRT or ArmA 2 RCon Tool. ;)

You can do it via RCon by using tools like DaRT or BERCon. Be sure to set a RConPassword in your beserver.cfg.

How about automating this process then? Since it doesn't seem to matter anymore anyway? We would atleast like to move our current instance ID to a new machine (new IP) or get another instance ID to put on it.

I am quite happy with BattlEye, only problem is that the cd keys are so cheap. ;) Anyway, I agree that whoever is responsible for the public Hive should get some help. I am waiting for my new instance ID for a week now and I guess it will still take another 2 weeks. Beside that it's really annoying that the Hive isn't even able to see which cars/tents/buildings are legit and just saves all of them. So you always have to remove them manually if you want to clean up the world. I know that the devs want to switch to private Hives but I still believe in public Hive and I still think it's a pretty awesome idea and I will keep hosting a public Hive server till the public Hive is gone.

Indeed. Not much I can do about it till then though. I thought so too. No ETA for the fix, sorry. There is a problem in the BattleNET version used in v0.8 which causes the ban list request to fail. That problem is fixed in v0.8.1. However, BattlEye still has problems with big ban lists (2000-3000+ bans) So it doesn't really matter if you use v0.7 or v0.8.1 since the problem is BattlEye. You should try to get FTP access or keep your ban list small (keep reasons short, remove double entries) till the fix is out.

As always, I can only tell you that if you want a decent server you will have to do it yourself on a dedicated machine. A little bit more expensive but you have full control over the server. Don't want to play DayZ anymore? Just switch it to another game without any problems. Beside that you can run multiple instances without spending extra money. Of course if you have limited amount of time to manage the server a managed server is probably better for you. I didn't have a good time with managed hosts but maybe hosts like dayz.st and Survival Servers are better.

Just a little heads up for everyone with a too big ban list that crashes the server: It will be fixed in the next BattlEye server update. The problem with ban list cut off/or not being received at all will be fixed in a future BattlEye update. Thanks goes to the guys over at BattlEye For the new DaRT version, it will probably come out out later today once I checked that everything is working properly.

You need to ask someone to either change the IP if you want to keep the instance ID or request a new one. Both could take a while. Waiting for a new instance ID too...

He is right, you can only do stuff you could normally do with RCon. The problem is already solved. It was indeed an issue with TCAdmin. Did you use the search to search for the GUID? Beside that, I am quite busy with other stuff at the moment. v0.8.1 will still be released but after that it could take a little bit longer. I will only fix bugs with v0.8.2 if there is the need to do so.

What he said. In that sense Gotcha doesn't spam. BattlEye does it for Gotcha. I wouldn't recommend setting a 2 "" to log everything but that is just my opinion.

All the logs flood the RCon.

For the MOTD: It's low priority at the moment since there are other tools like BEC for this. For the crashes: Should be fixed with 0.8.1.
