Ok, I bought Arma2 combined operations a few weeks ago from gamestop as a digital download. I got everything installed, then got dayz Commander and installed both dayz and the arma2 beta patch. I followed the instructions for all installations. I don't have enough room on my desktop to fit Arma2 so I put it on a 2T External Hard drive. I was able to play dayz for a week, then today, I went to play some and arma2 wont start. I tried starting from dayz commander and starting from arma2 beta itself, but it shows the check boxes, checks eight of the ten, then just stops with no error or crash messages. I even reinstalled arma2 and dayz, but to no avail. What is wrong? Any ideas would be helpful.

Ok, to clarify. When I start arma2, there is a gray rectangle that shows up in the middle of the screen. As the game loads, ten squares get checked off from left to right. I have watched It multiple times and it seems that when the last two boxes are checked, the game stops. What it should do is go to the full screen and show the Bohemia logo. I have started It with task manager open, and its as if the game loads, then when it is supposed to go to full screen, It just closes. I have no idea why this is. I have the most up to date arma2 beta and Dayz mod installed. I did uninstall arma2 OA and reinstalled it, I don't know if that deleted the registry. I do not get to the arma2 main screen. If more clarification is need go ahead and ask, because I really would like to play again

I've tried deleting everything and reinstalling it, but nothing has helped, can someone help. EDIT: So i deleted the batleeye.dll and scanned everything for malware according to similar posts, but it still isn't working. What can I add to help someone help me fix this, because I'm tired of banging my head against the wall.

I am new to the game and the community, but I have been watching Day z on youtube for a while now. I know this is not an uncommon problem, but I can't seem to find the fix. When I try to get into a server, It states that I have the wrong version ie. V1.62 but it says I need 1.62.1095 What exactly am I missing? i just installed the mod today. I bought arma2 from Gamestop online and Used withSIX to install Dayz. Any help would be great. thanks in advance.

Also, why is it that when I try to get on a public server with only a few people on it, I get kicked immediately but im not a bandit or hacker? I only wish I had those computing skills. and that good of a computer.

Seems that fixed most everything, but It says im missing Dayz_anim. What Is that and how Do I get it?
