Was in the school building, it was night server, a new spawn suddently climbed up when I was going down, I shat my pants and emptied half of my mag on him, I thought he was a zombie. -
The abandoned amusement part seems like a great idea, I mean imagine being in an abandoned amusement park at a night server, alone, scary as fuck. It'd be a great experience.

The servers I used to joins, which were Singapore servers all had high pings, the last time I checked they had like 99 - 120 ping, now they have like 300 - 400 ping, the same happened to all the guys I played with in the server, I didn't knew why though. -

I know you can zero with the most using the pageup and pagedown keys, but can anyone explain how to use those pageup and pagedown keys and what the numbers mean?

Which do you guys suggest for me to join if I want to experience DAYZ as the game it is. Is it bad that I join a server with a few people to grab some gear then join a server with tons of people when I am fully geared? -

So pressing the pageup and pagedown button actually affects your shot? How do you know the meters? I mean how do you measure the distance. Sorry, kinda noobish with the snipers.

Well, since KOS is rampant in the servers, I think I wouldn't really meet some good people, but I do hope I meet some nice NON-KOS people, other than getting shot in the head by a KOSing bandit. -

I recently died cause my computer froze when I was bleeding, I had to open task manager. But yeah I had some pretty decent gear and I think I was pretty ready. So it's not that bad that I look on empty servers then join other servers with tons of people? -
I haven't seen an M4 anywhere, am I just unlucky? or did the spawn rates decreased? I've been to military bases, barracks and air strips, still no m4.

You should watch or read some basic tips. And check out the map, know the places, look for signage. It'll make EVERYTHING easy.

It'd be so awesome if you can reduce your footsteps inside the houses or warehouse by removing your footwear. Just an Idea I thought of while hiding inside houses and camping, was getting paranoid when walking around, getting afraid that someone might hear my footsteps.

I'm new to dayz, never really played the mod, I went directly to the standalone, anyway, how do you spot your enemy? Well most of them shoot me but misses, how do you know where they are? Any tips on spotting your enemy?

Is it possible to load rounds in a Mosin not empty?

But theres a bug in the mosin right now, where when you place the bullets it, you hear the sound but you don't get the bullets inside the gun, you have to wait a few minutes for it to load. You can avoid this by raising your gun, and then placing the ammo inside the mosin. -
I mean, how do you spot the people who are already shooting at you, cause I get shot at hills and cities.

What do you adjust in game to gain a lot more view distance, since I use a sniper and sometimes I only see half of the persons body, the other half is invisible due to long distance stuff, so how do I increase the view distance in game?

I tried raising my resolution, but my FPS goes down when I raise my resolution.

Some people like me use the moon light, but sometimes the moon isn't out. I'm assuming the moon wasn't out when you were playing.
