Überlebender

Here´s what happened to me yesterday: I got shot with a humanity of about -25k and when I respawned, I still had my bandit skin but now my humanity was exactly at zero. Didn´t really think about it and started to loot Elektro. Managed to find an Alice pack pretty fast and felt happy about it. Unfortunately, after about ten minutes the swimming animation started and my skin changed to a normal survivor, which is alright for me since my humanity was at 150 then. Too bad, the skin change deleted my Alice pack and I was given a standard Coyote again (lost some useful stuff). I decided to continue looting and found a Czech backpack and once again I put some useful medical supplies etc. in it. At the firestation I ran into another player and well...there was a firefight. I survived but the murder set my humanity to a negative value and yeah, you can probably guess it...I morphed into a bandit which AGAIN deleted my backpack and left me with a Coyote pack. I was a little frustrated now and decided to have a little break. Funny thing is, that when I logged in a couple of hours later, I had about -25k humanity again (the same value before my initial death) and it hasn´t changed since then. I don´t know if anybody else has those kind of problems but I think the system is currently a bit bugged?

As soon as a bus teleports right next to me...I´m out of that effing server! I really don´t want anything to do with hackers and / or hacked gear. But obviously that´s just my jealousy kicking in :huh:

I always make sure to catch deerstands on the way. Yesterday I hit the jackpot and found a MP5sd AND a DMR in one single deerstand :D Of course that was just incredibly lucky.

Same here...the whole server gets kicked by Battle Eye because of "unknown game version". It happened on "de1"

The first time I spawned after the "no starter weapon" update, i decided to apply the tactic of simply running into elektro and getting rid of Zs by entering a building and sneak away through the second entrance. Well...I died miserably trying to leap over the barbed wire that was blocking the backdoor. I´ve gone back to avoiding Zs at all costs =)

i found my first vehicle a couple of days ago and i am almost regretting it now. the constant fear that it might have been stolen while logged off is just absurd :D so yeah, very nice read and i´m looking forward to part two

We experienced the same problem on "de 55" server. two days ago, we pitched a tent there and when we logged in again after a couple of hours, it was gone. we were not too worried about it though because we have heard of several incident, when a server reboot somehow killed tents, so we decided to give it another try after we found two tents in a supermarket. so once again, we pitched our tents, saved them and logged off. guess what happened this morning? both tents disappeared. they were pitched correctly and we saved them several times just to make sure. the server announcement stated, that the server is rebooted every 8 hours...however, I can´t proof, that this is really the case. I stumbled upon this "hive-issue" more or less by accident in this thread, after searching the "news" section on the homepage and the "announcements & info" section of this board without finding any hint on this whole issue :(

i found two crash sites yesterday. at the first one, there was no loot at all and on the second one there was a stack of usual loot on either side of the heli (i remember chemlights and other basic stuff i didn´t need) and also a medical box with blood bags, epi-pens, painkillers and morphine.

other dude here and yeah, i confirm the "no homo" part =] i just wanted to point out, how much more fun it is to play DayZ co-op style. when i started this game about a week ago, i tried finding some guys to team up with ingame but as you can probably imagine, it never turned out to be a great idea so i quickly adapted and switched to the lone wolf attitude. now we played together for about 5-6 hours today and it was absolutely awesome. it´s really been a while since i had so much fun with a game :)
