I was driving in my SUV down the east coast heading towards Solnichniy Factory to get some industrial parts to fix a chopper nearby. I saw a survivor in the middle of the road and I could hear him over direct asking me to stop and give him a ride. Like you said in the beginning of your post of being able to slowly fix up vehicles a little bit faster then usual. Nothing would pop up and say 'Congratulations! You can fix cars faster." Skill bars would be a terrible add-on to DayZ it would practically make some of the serious-type gamers leave and bring in the League of Legends, WoW type.

Right now the tents save when you log out. However, after a certain amount of days it will dissapear. I am not sure how much but I have encountered that before. The 'save' option was to practically feed the server a log of whereabouts the tent is and what is in it. (Also, vehicles.) Tents are still there after server restarts.

I've broken my legs numerous times getting hit by zombies. I've also broken my legs going down the office stairs and running into my buddy.

On public hives, I have been encountering the same glitch where I repair a single a part and it repairs the whole thing. All it needs is gas.
