    Some people just suck

Possibly desynchronisation or lag in that case. Either that or the player is new and was luckily enough to stumble upon high-grade gear. From either way you look at it, you came out on top, and I'm sure he learned something from it.

    Car crashes

It's the game. If you've been playing it for as long as me and my friends have, you soon come to realise you can literally only trust the marked roads on any map. Everything else it out to get you, so to speak. The other day near Staroye we found a bus, for it to only blow up 200m down the road due to a plank of wood hitting the right side.

If it was the DMR at such close range, he may not have taken into account the fact the scope is default zeroed at 300m. Meaning he would have shot way over your head. This is assuming he wasn't aware of that, not many first timers are.

    L85 A2 AWS

Sadly the optics on that particular variant only allowed NV or Therma, there's no option for 'normal'. Although, you could try the '/' key on your num pad. As far as I know, the scope has a backup iron sight on the top? I may be wrong.

    Voice & Text Communication

The only problem so far that I've come across with this, is that if it offers no chance of communication with the possible Bandit 100m away. Lately I've noticed that with the removal of Side Chat everyone I've come across, be it in Elektro or Gorka, has been hostile. I'm not disputing the fact they could be legitimate bandits but myself and several others in the community i'm part of agree that it's more-than-likely due to its removal. An example would be what I encountered today. Travelling North of Msta doing a deer hut circle when we see and hear a guy trapped in a building fending off the Zombies with a Makarov. (It's obvious he had taken notice of this as he looked over at us several times.). So when we approached him after they had been taken care of he proceeds to open up on us with a Makarov. I mean. Really? This kind of 'paranoia' if you will, wouldn't be present if we was able to communicate before even getting within Direct Com range. This isn't a BAW about the PvP or anything, it's a post to outline why I think (and presumably many more) Side Channel is important for maintaining some sort of 'peace'. (probably not the right word.)
  6. I can understand why someone would become annoyed at the fact they may have to shell out another $30 for a game when they have only just bought one in the first place. But you cannot blame the dev team for making it stand alone. There is only so much they can do in the current Arma engine, and once a point has been hit, the game will just become a clunky half-done mod. I'd much rather them go all out with it and produce the best game possible, than have a game hampered by the limitations of an engine. My main gripe about its current state is how you are forced into close quarter situations, and this is something the Arma engine does very poorly. Anyway, my point is obviously going to be bias due to the fact I bought Arma a week before UK release (lolidkhow) and have been playing it for its milsim characteristics.
