  1. Imagining that would be awful. I could NEVER fly a helicopter straight. I'd have a tough time driving too. I always need to see the back of the vehicle. It drives me nuts sometimes to be looking at a small window called a monitor, then through another smaller window that I must use to drive and see. Not a bad idea, but there are servers just for that. It would add to the immersion, but it wouldn't be helpful and fun for some people.

    1.7.7.1 wait for host

Are you trying a lot of servers? My server showed that issue earlier. It was hosted by DayZ.st. It was caused by invalid mission and server PBOs which had to be reset to default.

    Ghillie dude at stary....

Yes, just because of the AS50. There is no need for a hero or anyone, but a bandit to have an AS50, unless you are sniper support for your squad or some other circumstances. If I saw you with an M4 variant or AK, I wouldn't because I would assume you're friendly. Plus no one would want to shoot any unsilenced gun off in Cherno. Terrible idea. I'd sneak by you, or let you know I was there and keep moving.
  4. Actually, I do believe most bandits are older people around 17 to 20 that have nothing better to do. I don't think a player as young as 12 could live that long to become a skilled bandit since when I came to the game, I pictured myself as a badass medic fast roping out of a huey, but alas, that doesn't exist, and I would most likely get shot a mile away while in the chopper by a magical AS50 that doesn't use wind.
  5. DayZ.ST is working pretty damn well for me. Most of our members live on the East Coast with the server in LA. We all get pretty good ping with little to no lag. The control panel is pretty nice and handy to have fun. Nothing like having a Sunday night demolition derby in a field in the North. If the Chicago thing works out, we may switch to there, since we SHOULD get better ping. I like everything about it. The only thing that DayZ.ST is missing is a backpack editor in the map, but other than that, it is awesome service and "fabulous" connection. BEANS FO YOU!

    Bandits Wanted.

This shall be fun when I can get on... So... All we have to do is kill people? I say a couple bandits should team up(oh the irony) and ravage everything. Destroy vehicles, bodies with stuff, and snipe like no tomorrow. ANARCHY!!!
  7. Yesterday on my private hive, two guys stole my SUV. While I was searching nearby, I hear my Osprey fire up. I ran back up the hill, shot one that immediately jumped in the cockpit when I started opening up with my M4A3 CCO and the other ran around wildly. In a deserate attempt to save my Osprey from being destroyed from a Bambi who can't fly, or worse, stolen, I jumped in their Huey(it was mine from earlier) which was parked facing a convenient direction, I took control of the M240 and sprayed the other. Forgot to loot them for the STANAGs and M4 that were taken out of the Osprey. Sometimes you're driven to banditry...

  9. Would you like to play with me tomorrow on Chernarus? I'll see if I can get Origins downloaded and stuff.

    Slower ATV's

Quite true and realistic. Anyone ever hit the bridge heading west into Cherno and have their ATV flip and explode? You sir have my beans by the way.
  11. Have you played on Chernarus previously? It's really the only map I like(there's a couple exceptions) since it has a lot of trees and cover, plus I love stealth and silenced guns. NVG night raids are the shiz.
  12. So you're thinking of going to Chernarus? I probably shouldn't volunteer it, but my brother and a couple of my friends have a server fr Chernarus if you want to try it(I'm sure you've played Chernarus before.)
  13. Two guys and I were holed up in the Cherno church shooting off thirty plus zombies that had chased us in since we were making a loot run gone bad. I had a frag, but forgot about it. I switched to full auto earlier, and intended to switch back to semi to conserve my magazines. I clicked once, threw the frag, and hit the deck before I could tell them the same. They both died instantly and I only suffered shock. I felt terrible. I loaded their stuff into the UAZ we had parked nearby and went to pick them up. They got their stuff back and it was good, but I kept saying sorry for an hour later. I felt bad about blowing two guys legs off that weren't even expecting it. They didn't understand what had happened since it happened so quick. Sorry guys.
  14. Hey guys, I'm looking for a man named Enrico. His real name is Tom and he's older than most. He's really polite and he played on my private hive a couple weeks ago. We got a dedicated and I haven't been able to contact him since. Edit: I also misthrew a frag in the Cherno church with you and Lah shooting zombies. I messed up and it landed in the benches. I hit the floor and you guys died. Sorry again lol. Please help and thanks, Brian

    first kill on dayz

I did almost the same thing. Looted the AT and started back towards Cherno and the road infront of the hangers on my hive server. Actually bumped into a guy and he started swinging a hatchet first. I promptly sliced him back. He missed every hit. It took three hits to get him. Just to think I wouldn't have swung if he hadn't first. Then again... Never trust anyone.
  16. Will you guys by any chance go to Chernarus? Seems interesting and quite nice how you guys have a good, strong leadership system, but I personally don't like the map. Thanks
