The recruitment process We as a clan prefer to handle our recruitment, process over voice chat. Why? Firstly because its more user friendly and its much easier to get to know the people we will be working with. Once the interview is complete you will be given perms to join some of our channels. Obviously, the longer you work with us, the more people in the group will grow to trust you. So be talkative, get to know your fellow clan members etc. Once you remain active on the team speak for a certain amount of time we will fully accept you into the clan. Requirements Mature (telling us your age is optional, all we require is maturity) A working mic Team speak - (This is essential) Being capable of a certain amount of obedience (We already have some plans in motion) Sense of humor (we can be serious in serious situations, but know when to have a laugh every now and then as you could probably tell by our name) About us Allow me to get one thing clear. We are not a bandit organisation, so if you enjoy activities such as sniping fresh spawns in elektro, then this clan isn't for you. We are out to lend a helping hand, however if we come under fire, then we have no qualms about shooting to kill. We all have a serious side, but when it comes down to it, we are all out to have fun, so remember that. We are currently campaigning to become a branch in Dr Wastelands coalition, however, that is still unconfirmed at this point in time. Rules and Consequences Rules include: The deliberate shooting of unarmed survivors Stealing or deliberate dispossession of clan equipment and/or vehicles (we share equipment if you need weapons/ammo just ask, simple right?) Associating with a known bandit organisation. (It doesn't look good) Disrespect against fellow clan members regardless of their position, this includes racist remarks etc. (But we can take jokes just don't go too far) Hacking, if you are caught doing this you will be immediately expelled from the organisation. Consequences Breaking any rules listed above will seriously compromise you position within the 97ADU. It all depends upon the offence committed and remorse. Offenses such as hacking result in immediate expulsion, whilst others may result in a warning, it all depends. Just don't break any of the rules and you will be fine. If I could just ask one simple question. Apparently humanity is back. People are talking about there humanity how it rises and drops etc. The thing is I don't have humanity on my debug monitor. Im sure there is a very simple answer to this and I apologise if its on the forums and I have missed it, thxs in advance.

You took out two guys. A whole squad is a group of at least 5 people. At least.

Iv read basically this whole thing. Conclusion = There are no rules in real life. If you are in a post soviet war torn state with zombies and some guy has an AS50, you can't stamp your foot declaring it unfair. There should be no nerfs, no elimination of weapons. Because in reality, if you get shot in the chest with a sniper rifle, you die, pretty much instantly. In this game, DMR to the chest and you'll be fine. The .50 calls are how a sniper should be. If it exists in reality it should exist in the game. I think the basis behind this thread is that people don't like getting killed with one shot when they didn't even see it coming, they want to have gun battles etc. Sorry, but in reality that just wouldn't happen. Keep all current guns and add more.

There are an equal amount of hackers on all servers, its completely random. i normally play on NZ/AUS servers. Its been a good month and a bit since iv been killed fairly.

Iv sent his happen quite often, are you sure its just a bug? I figured it had soothing to do with the amount of time you spend with a player.

Let me tell you all my tale. The tale where my 7 TS friends and I decided to pick up 2 of our friends in cherno, with our bus. The ride down was smooth, we took a pit stop in Kamenka while we refuelled the bus. We had one survivor approach us while there, we told him to leave and fired one warning shot to be sure. After that we continued towards cherno and picked up our two friends. As we are about to leave a new person enters out ts and requests pickup west of Elektro so we decide why not, as we continue driving through chero again after leaving previously. The new player informs us that he is halfway between Elektro and cherno. We arrive at the said location and announce to the player that we have arrived. He then infoms us that he is in the middle of Elektro where the tracks meet up. I then say: "didn't you tell us to meet you between Elektro and Cherno? The player goes silent. I continue asking him questions to which i get no response. I decided to leave the bus and go under a bush to asses the situation. I disembark the bus and at the exact same moment the bus is riddled with sniper fire. I run to cover as I hear the bus explode behind me. out of the 10 of us in the bus, only 4 survived the initial explosion including myself. Only 3 made it over the ridge of the rocks. 3 hours of being pinned down behind the ridge of the rock before one of our attackers decided to come and investigate our bodies. He came over the ridge on the left hand side where our heavy gunner was postitioned. They saw each other at the same time. Our gunner opened up ripping the guy to shreds. But not before our enemy could get off 3 m4 A1 SD shots to his chest. Only two of us left now. We exit the ridge to our right and spend the next half our crawling along the coast. Once we thought we were clear, we stood up and sprinted towards the tree line. Only two of us including myself survived that day. 8 casualties and the loss of our bus. I shouldn't be alive. PS: that was my 21 day character who recently met his demise when I accidentally hit respawn when attempting to ramp up my gamma at night, good times.

UTC time is currently: 9:55am The time zone of the organiser is UTC -5 so 9:55am minus 5 hours that means that at the time zone UTC -5 its around 4:50am right now. So basically 12 hours until this happens.

My day 20 character. AS50 with 5 clips NVG, range finder, coyote back pack, you know, stuff someone who has been living for 20 days would have. It was beginning to get quite dark on the server, so i decided it was time to ramp up the gamma. Open the start menu moved the cursor to the options button, missed and hit re-spawn. joy.

I disagree with most of the posts on here. Lately EVERYONE basically shoots on sight. I don't think that makes them bandits. A bandit is someone who has an explicit goal to set out to a town to specifically kill other players for their loot.

Your 100% correct, agree completely, but I'm pretty sure that no one is stupid enough to legitimately post this thread as an actual suggestion to be taken seriously. Pretty sure OP is just a troll.

Your forgetting one thing, even if rocket agreed with your post (unlikely) he doesn't really have the power to ban the use of 3rd party programs in DayZ. Mainly because its 100% impossible to police it and he doesn't own programs such as TS and thus does not have the right to ban it whilst playing DayZ.

Other assault rifles yes, the AKM, no. AkM does basically as much damage as the winchester. Go for the AKM, you would be crazy not too.

I have a TS server that I play on. We are just a bunch of guys that cruise around and have a bit of fun, nothing serious. I have been in plenty of buses and other vehicles with them, and looking at those vids above... i wouldn't particularly enjoy being made to drop my weapons and made to fight in an arena.
