The thing is dude alot of people enjoy the modded versions of the mod... thats why there are so many different maps out there. I agree though its good to go back to the 'vanilla' servers. Although i too would like to give the SA a run asap i am also really enjoying some of the mods. -

Mate i would do the reverse and stain the main gun darker and leave the logo the lighter colour. Would make the gun look more authentic imo.. Would make it look like you have engraved to logo with a knife or etched it in with an old bean can or something. -
