your CD key is your GUID its what makes the game know you are different from others. try and change your key and you will see.

You can't just paste a CD key in there that looks like this 54632-asda3-35241-asda2-151sd it won't work. The CD key is translated differently in the registry in specific format that only registry can read something like this (0000 10 01 01 01 10....). Also I forgot to mention that its very case sensitive 1 wrong letter and nothing works anymore.

You can actually. If you are on Windows do this. Open Regedit and then navigate: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive Studio\ARMA 2 OA Then open KEY and copy everything its inside and paste it on a notepad. When you are at his house start Regedit again and navigate back to the KEY registry and paste yours in there, just make sure you backup his before so he won't need to reinstall the game.

I hope you're joking. IMO I would not get my hopes up for a release before the end of the year, holidayz are right around the corner. But that's just my opinion and I hope I'm wrong, cause getting to play the SA for Christmas would be awesome!

I try to be friendly towards others I really do, but it seems like everyone I meet is a complete asshole and douchebag. And it pisses me off when I help somebody and as soon as I turn my back on them I get shot and loose everything I have worked so hard to get. And I'm not complaining that the game is harsh or anything cause otherwise I would have stopped playing it a looooong time ago. DayZ is all about the experience and surviving the zombie apocalypse in a hostile eviorment, and not some lame ass deathmatch game. Maybe what DayZ needs is an objective, because what do you really do in DayZ right now? Get items, get gun, go back to the coast, shoot freshspawns, die, respawn and repeat everything again. I wish this game had more mature players, and not so god damned many spoiled kids, that only know to shoot everyone and bitch about it when they die. And last but not least I fu*king I hate that kind of people who act tough on the side channel and not only. From where I come from there is a saying: "We are all tough between four walls and a keyboard". I swear this game gave me more headaches than any other I played so far.

I don't have a favorite weapon but I have a favorite loadout :): Primary Weapon: SVD Dragunov (it's nice because of the way the scope works, no need for rangefinder) Secondary Weapon: M1911 Third Weapon(Carry slot): Crowbar(Gordon Freeman style biatch ;) ) Clothing: Ghillie Suit (of course) Although I mostly snipe and play alone its always great to have a spotter or someone to help you.

Would be a good idea, if the player would start with some kind of melee weapon like the newly added baseball bat,machete or a hatchet. I mean its the zombie apocalypse you gotta have something to defend yourself for crying out loud, starting only with your dick in your hands ain't realistic and cool. I seriously doubt incase of a zombie apocalypse you would run arround with nothing to defend yourself but only bandages that serve as a tampon for each time a zombie hits you and gives you a period, cuz thats how it looks when you are bleeding like you're having a period or some shit. hell even the crowbar sounds appealing now. just give us something that we can use to fight back after we respawn.
