Thanks, my daughter is getting into DayZ...which I think is very cool, however she logged on to one of my favorite servers and promptly got my ass killed. She needs her own profile! BTW, if I have two PCs running of a router will each PC have it's own signature, meaning the game will see us as two different IPs?

So what happens to the chopper that's been crashed? I mean if it was serviecable and flying at one time does the server reset it at it's original location and you go about finding parts all over again?

Are there AI bandits on the server you play on? I've taken fire from AI at key and completely random locations and could confirm that the other players were not involved.

Boat houses can be lethal! I was near the shore when mobbed and thought I'd use a boat house as a choke point and take the zeds out one at a time. The plan worked for a while but it was soon apparent I was going to be overrun so I ducked in the door and jumped in the water intending to swim under the boat house and shake my pursuers. I got under the dock and bled out in seconds! The hourglass appeared almost instantly. Always swim with a friend.

I've experienced similar situations. The first time I discovered another player's tent I went to crawl in it and broke my legs! WTF? I broke my legs in a tent? Another time while taking enemy fire I was crawling through some rocks, broke my legs, no morphine so I crawled out and let them shoot me...we're particularly fragile in DayZ

Even on land I couldn't have been saved, I died as fast or faster then if I had been shot! Just wondering what caused such a major tramma??? Needless to say I won't go swimming around buildings any time soon

Hmmm, the only time I've ever used one was when I found one in a barn...or warehouse. Is it as effective as an ax?

But isn't it displayed on the tool belt next to the ax?

Doesn't the machette work the same as an ax...RMB..."remove from tool belt" and it replaces the main weapon?

I have died from infection...well, not the infection per say but from leaping off a roof when I realized I wasn't going to make it. Have never been knocked down by a single blow. I have been attacked through walls, the 2 room log cabin with the narrow doorway (death trap) and the long brown sided barn and a few times they attacked around corners on the catwalk in the warehouse. Only one Zed has penetrated the pine tree trick. I have had them come running from over 100 meters which is unsettling and twice now in the tents at Stay Sabor I've had a prone zombie that I shot in the head three times, he played dead and grabbed me as I entered the tent...sucked My least favorites are those that don't go agro and attack from your blind side without making a sound I consider most of that to be unfortunate glitches and just the price we pay for playing this game.

Learned the hard way: If you simply click on "Take Alice Pack" you will most likely be disapointed because if you don't unload your current pack and reload the new one you won't gain any new slots
