I no longer read devblogs, waaay too many opinions that really don't matter. I've played a bit of single player on a leaked version, I'm excited, but patient. When it's here it's here and I'm certain I'll be playing the arma/dayz mod anyway. -
Steam as admin? Often when I launch from commander steam will open as well and I have to close it???

I'm with you man...nothing like creeping along, feeling pretty good about how you're doing and then...SCREEEECH! That damn opening set of notes causes you to need a change of drawers! Music is off. -
I've found tents in Super Markets, once in a station house, but most often in residential locations. The first one I found was laying on the steps of a house, green I think it was, but a prop meaning you could not enter it.

I found a radio while looting and went to unload my pack into my stash vehicle and was kicked by battle eye "add weapon cargo restriction #49" did I pick up some hacked loot?

Hmm, IIRC I did take it off a corpse, could explain how it came to be in my hands. I have since dropped it in the woods.

It's what I am...BIG 6'4" 280lbs and what I do...Chef In game I have several other names each one I play a bit differently. One's a hoarder, the other a nomad, haven't defined the third one yet. -

Agreed. A few days ago I was running for cover (in this case high ground) while being chased by six or seven zeds and so I climbed up the ladder on the control tower and was met by a zombie right at the top! It was a WTF?!?!?! moment. -
I found a motorcycle running but needing some repairs and fuel. I could not refuel with a Jerry can and at first thought I was doing something wrong and just abandoned it. Then today I was reading the "Heli not refueling" thread and guessed that the reason I couldn't refuel the bike was because it needed repairs as well. My question is...where to you find parts for motorcycles and for that matter bicycles?

I hopped on and everything was green, just no fuel....hmm I don't think I used the mouse wheel to scroll through the parts. It was laying on the ground when I found it. I'll go back in tonight.

I gave DazY a try, found there were too many tweeks and bugs to overcome...I gave up. I did play a single player version of the stand a lone last month, but it was rough, had very few trees on the map so the zeds could see you from over 200 meters, I even spawned in my underwear a few times! It's not that it's no longer fun, but there is an element of tension and excitement that diminishes over time. -
Found the moto, repaired the tire and hull, however I still cannot refuel with a jerry can???
