Use dayz commanders. You can choose if you want to see only private / public servers. The 300+ vehicles servers are usually private servers that are customized to fit the players needs. There's a some vanilla dayz private servers though, since private hives usually have better hacker protection.

I keep seeing stuff on the forum such as '' the community wants less guns, more realistic gameplay '' blablabla on this forum. You guys do realise the majority of the community ( KoS players ) don't want that, right ? There's a reason there's not as much DayZ vanilla server that as populated as private server with custom load outs, custom buildings, spawn table changes etc Just my little rent<3

Go up north, there's town there, or go to balota's airfield. In cherno and elektro there's military spawn as well.

If it took you 3 days to get an enfield and supplies: you suck. In 4 hours you should have at least a military assault riffle, handgun, supplies and a decent backpack with supplies in it.

Why are you people so butthurt ? O_O Why would people wanting the game to be hard have priority over people who want a military shooters with zombies as extra ? There's a reason why the most popular streamers are Sacriel etc, they kill people and mostly do PvP. In a democracy, the majority rule win. Just saying the SA won't work if it goes from a military survival RPG to a survival RPG. And for the guy who said there should be a penalty for killing people, well there's should be advantages as well if so, and there should be equivalent penalties for people not killing other peoples.

Hey guys, I've been reading the forum for a while, and I came to this conclusion: I don't get why a lot of people complain about the mod ! It's fun to play with a squad and think of strategies in order to annihilate other squads and take their guns and items. This game is a sandbox game ! You guys find it fun to look around for food, water and so on, fine with me, I have no problems with that ! But let me have my fun as well, I find it fun to shoot at people and take their stuff ! You guys know about "the walking dead", it's a popular zombie show ! They shoot at each other with high military grade weapons ! So why do you guys want to remove the military aspect of the game, which is one of the funnest thing in my opinion for the boring part, which is looking around for loots and not getting caught by zombies ... The game's fun for me because while killing other players there are zombies trying to kill you, not because zombies are trying to kill you and you're trying to help others. And sorry, but if there was a zombie apocalypse, there would be military squad running around, which would make military guns way more common as there would be not a lot of humans left, and lot of zombies. If anything they should make guns easier to find and food harder to find ! You can create ammos if anything in real life, while you can't create food, and there isn't an infinite supply of food ! Well that's my personal opinion, and I was wondering why you guys want less guns, since it's clearly illogical if you want a realistic game...

I think the point of .50 cals in DayZ is to blow up people's vehicles they worked hard to repair Like how you think make it look like the as50 is the only military weapon. I would like to see more marksman riffle such as an AWM, or maybe to to give an options to snipers, a DSR with subsonic and piercing rounds you can swap around with in order to adapt to most situations.

Yeah ... As for me, I would like to see more high end military weapons from china, USA & russia. As you know, right now USA - China - Russia is the order for the countries that spent the most on military equipments. And it's highly possible that there would be military support from other countries, or just military movements. And most likely, a lot of those soldiers would die, leaving their guns behind if you know what I mean !

Dude idk about you, but if food was harder to find, same for drinks and basic supplies, I would be even more tempted to kill other people. Way easier to kill someone for food than actually look for it ! And even in real life, if there's a zombie thing going on, I would kill people just so they won't kill me, anything goes when the laws aren't there anymore.

Hi guys, So today I just made my first kill that involved tactics etc. So I was heading toward my hideout, I had a m16a4 ACOG in hand and a as50 in my backpack, I'm shooting at zombies testing the SD mags I found while on my way. There's this guy ( an admin on the server [ private hive ] ) that play legit and is like '' anyone shooting near blablabla '' and I'm like '' yeah that's me I guess '', and I proceed with my shit. Now he's like '' Friendly ? Drop your gun '' after maybe 5-10 minutes and shoot a DMR shot near me. So I drop my m16 & g17 and move away. He comes near me, check my backpack and is like '' give me your night vision I need them '', take a drink and leave ... but I see him go up the hill and prone ... I type '' Dude can I pick up my guns and go away ? '' ... No answers ... I'm like '' shit he's gonna kill me '', I sprint toward the bottom of the hill, go prone under a pine trees line, and role around, take out my as50 and aim at him, and type '' dude I see u can i take my guns ? '', no answers, I notice he moved toward the bottom of the hill, shot over his head and type '' dude warning shot '', he shoot at me, it's actually a aim 14, 2 shots hit, I take cover and bandage, I hear shots and I see he died. I'm 100% sure he didn't bleed out, as50 is a 1 shot hit. Now he's qqing in chat about how I killed him, which I didn't. And I know there's a fucker out there with a DMR, but I have no ideas of his position whatsoever, so I camp under a pine tree and wait. I gotta argue with that stupid admin kid as well at the same time. So I notice some movements on my left, check there, I see some guy crawling around with a DMR, I flank him, get really close and ''BOOM'' point blank as50 shots in the head. Check his gear: DMR + 12 mags. Type in chat: you guys can pick up your stuff if you want to, I can guard it ( I'm a nice guy ). No, both the admin and the guy ( which ended up being part of the ''strongest'' clan in the server ) started complaining on me and shit, and the clan guy even said he would give anyone who managed to kill me humvee full of guns such as as50 etc ( which they have ). They than proceed to get on the server's mumble and tell me they got trucks full of dmr and shit and will hunt me down I'm 100% sure the clan guy killed the admin and framed me after, he kept saying shit like '' I saw you kill him blablabla '' while I clearly only killed him, I guess he's mad he didn't get to loot. He made up something like '' I was only investigating the gun shots '', sorry but if you hear DMR and as50 shots, you don't investigate. Now everyone on that serve wish to kill me !:( Moral of the story: shoot on sight from now on. .

First, you can't dupe anymore, arma II client fixed it. Only item I managed to dupe was cart parts, and an admin blew up the car. Second, on public hive banning someone who dupe items is considered abuse of power. Third, V3R73X said he was sorry about last night and confirmed a member from SWAC kill him and NOT ME. Fourth, have an admin check my tent, I have an as50, a m24, a DMR, a m16a4 acog and a ak kobra, that's it. Fifth, [sWAC] daxon is clearly a liar for saying he saw killing V3R73X, as he killed him himself and admitted it later on, if they were actually a real helpful clan and all, he would offer public apologies and compensation for the stain on my reputation, which he won't do because he's a baby that got mad after getting owned. And for your information: Duping mean duplication, which mean you need 1 gun to duplicate it, as I only had 1 as50, how could that have been a gun I duped beforehand, since you do know there was a server reset.

You guys will lose shit load of humanity too, as I'm a hero:P I clearly wasn't in the wrong, thus I don't see why I should leave anyway. What truly happened: [sWAC] shot the admin thinking it was me, noticed it wasn't me, tried to frame me, I killed him thinking he was an an enemies. Conclusion: I still have over 4k humanity but my as50 is gone, I'm suspecting a mad admin removed it, idk why ... :o Bug with a tent they fixed it !

Never said they were admin, he just said he would give tons of weapons to whoever killed me with SS proof, that I wasn't welcomed on this server anymore and that I wouldn't be playing there anymore in not long :P

Because I like to shoot at people, simple as that. It's like call of duty but we a bigger map, vehicles and more tactics to make use of !
