It pretty much depends on the server for me... I get 60-75fps on most, however on some I get 40-50. On BF3 I get 90-100 on Ultra - the game is very poorly optimized haha i5-3570K @ 4.2ghz GTX 670FTW (Overclocked more by me) ASRock Z77 Extreme4

It completely depends on the Server. Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think there is a spawn point for it on Public Hives. Many private hives will not even have the heli. I have found the occasional at a castle, I think it was Black Castle just like Wooly-Black-Jack had previously stated. Good luck finding one. Tip: Ask admin or frequent players if there is one on server.

Or you could just use the same HDD in the upgrade!

Your point is pretty invalid - I agree the release date is a bit of a stretch but I'd rather have the game good than just releasing it right? However, getting to the point DayZ won't "fail" considering we know what to expect in the game as everyone of us on this forum has played the game at least once. Therefore, people won't rage quit and never play the game again because of stupid things like loading times? c'mon, sounds as if you were rage quitting as you typed that. Think of the million people that have played the Alpha and loved it. I don't think they would just stop playing because of loading times? It doesn't even take that long to load in. If you complain about it, go play a different game. If you think the loading times are long, run from Cherno to Stari or NWAirfield - that's pretty much the same thing... Please don't complain about a game before it has even been released and claim it will fail because everyone will "Rage Quit".

M40A3 - Love the mil-dots better than the SVD Range Scope. I really like the SVD, but I'd rather use mils than range it in scope. Just comes faster to me. One of the best rifles in the game.

I'd have to go DMR - knocks out at first shot but of course 1 shot kill in head! Also, I love the mil dot scope, and night vision is a great plus too. I also really like the M4A3 CCO. Has a nice fire rate and damage but also the flashlight makes a great touch.

I have been playing since June, and have been playing ACE mod the same amount of time so I am experienced in the Arma series. I want a small group of about 3-4 people that are serious and dedicated to the game, not people who are going to mess around all the time. Also, the reason of the small group is because in large groups people tend to get left out and the clan/squad eventually falls apart. If interested please post below and I would love to get playing as soon as possible! I've got Skype and Teamspeak and will use either one. I am in the United States btw, however country doesn't matter to me - only thing is figuring a time to play. Thanks, Frosty
