I downloaded both games and the Dayz mod from Steam.

Can anyone tell me why it says Bad version, server rejected connection, as an error message whenever I try to connect to a server? I'm new to this and bought Arma 2 and Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead just so I could play Dayz. some help would be appreciated.
