    you do not need to know what you have to test, as soon as you join experimental, you are in testmode.

     

    if you can not play next branch without knowing what new was added, please only joining stable, there you get informed about changes in newer branches.

    oooh sure, i will totally know if there are some problems with dunno lets say "pissing system" if i dont know it even exist right?

    i wanted to open this topic to discuss about this. when i start dayz with the exp patch i found only two types of servers

     

     

    1) full, of course i cant join

     

    2) empty, i dont know why, but i cant join them, since when i try im stuck in an endless "waiting for host"

     

    its almost impossible to find servers that are not full, or with enought players to play, and this limits a lot the space for the players who want to play exp.

    Ok, meet Yaroslav (random slav name because he survived for so long that he deserved a name).

    I have him in regular mode since i took the game.

     

    He found his weapon (without attachments), clothes and backpack on a guy that was litteraly executed in front of him. (i was walking on a street near berezino, when i saw a guy running the opposite way, so i had i found a bush nearby to hide, that guy gets shot right in front of me, he falls down with a broken leg, six guys shows up and restrain him, then they shot in his face and run away without looting him). everything happened with me hiding in a bush 3-4 meters from them in the woods near the road.

    Before the 0.47 update i played him as hero, helping the bambis or using them as scouts, i still remember when a guy insisted to follow me and be my scout (obvious Arabic accent, so i called him "kebab") and he tried several times to sneak behind me with random melee weapons, but i always busted him right before the attack, forcing him to invent the strangest excuses (like i saw a zombie hitting you, damn lag).

    Oh you kebab, he was shot by a sniper at Solnichniy in front of me and another random friendly heavily armed dude. Never forget.

     

    after the 0.47 i played him as explorer/hunter exploring every part of this map, and encountering a lot of people (most of the times i used the excuse "im hunting a pack of bandits" to look cool and not get shot in the back)

    I actually hunted a group of bandits/military players, taking down one of them and force feeding another.

     

    in summary

     

    he survived for a lot of time

    he survived at least eight ambushes and god know how many firefights

    he killed countless zombies

    He read one book resting on a campfire

    he aided at least twenty players with direct help, giving supplies and giving fire support

    he killed 3-4 players (plus one that asked to be killed)

    He visited the major islands i the coasts of chernarus

    he was restrained and robbed three times

    he encountered a ton of people, friendly or not.

    Hunting with my good old sporter (backup weapong gifted to a guy who robbed meshooting me unconscious with a sawed off duble barrel and then restrain me) but then decided to return my stuff because i was funny and he liked my voice. (gifted because he used the last ammo to shot me)

    What id like to see is that the zombies are normal infected humans, but still they are a rabid idiot in who rage when he see you, so they would ignore the shots taken and continue to attack, normally a person is neutralized by the pain and the shock of being hurt, but these are just crazy idiots who wants to tear you apart.

     

     

    so yeah,

     

    headshot instant death

    Heart shot: 8-20 seconds till the death

    Lung shot: one minute or so

    Wounds in the non vital parts would be ignored (several shots in the belly or other part that kills the targed for blood loss and infection)

    Arms/legs: you dont kill him, you just handicap the zombie

    I think you are not playing the game that you want to play, this is not first person shooter, this is Post apocalyptic survival game, if you expect to see RPG's in game you are on the wrong place! Everyone talking about bugs, movement controls, persistant items, tents, and you want high end military weapons. :P

    you know that fire arrows where used only as tracers?

     

     

    you cant kill someone with them, it would just bouce off.+

     

     

     

     

    watch less movies people.
