I was using a higher version of the beta patch than whats on dayz commander so thats what was doing it, i re-installed the highest one on commander that says (stable) and I can now play again.

this just started happening to me as well, what the hell is going on? It happens with any dayz mod I try right after I get to the player screen and press OK and it starts downloading the mission file it happens although it happened before that just this last time..

I agree yeah we can use port forwarding etc and all of that or that automatic port forwarding protocal i forgot the name of for it but I'd honestly really like to see you guys get away from gamespy, their server stuff is just awful. -

welcome to the new world of dayz.. hackers galore, Rocket doesn't do anything anymore etc etc. Lets hope dayz standalone is worthwhile once it releases in december.. Hardly anyone plays DayZ anymore, we had over a million players then bam now there are hardly any within months. Such a drastic population change in such short time. -

Yeah I felt this way too when i first started, now I'm months into the game and am just jaded and disappointed, hackers everywhere etc. I tend to only play Lingor now adays cause there is more action and loot is everywhere it makes it a bit more exciting and interesting. But there seems to be more hackers on private hives than the real thing. In my experience anyways.

I never see people driving vehicles around at all they only get vehicles to use as mobile tents. It would be so much more interesting if people actually used the vehicles they hoard.

Lingor isn't official so of course it doesn't save anything. You'll have different stuff and different positions on every different private hive server unless they are linked to the same private hive.
