YES but I would want melee combat introduced first. It would be too damn annoying otherwise.

So like the title states, I chose female when I got the prompt and had no issues, been playing as the female survivor for a long while then all of a sudden last night after being shot it decides to spawn me as a male character.. Now I've died as female before and came back female which is why this is odd. Is this ever going to be fixed? My fiancee got the prompt and she chose female as well but spawned immediately as a male.. Kinda silly to give us a 1 in a cd-key life type thing and it not work properly at all.

If you ever want a buddy to play with so it's not so grim like this I'm a nice guy and always looking for friends to play dayZ with. And no I'm not an immature 14 year old I'm actually 27 so you need not worry :) I've started to play it shoot on sight because thats what everyone else is doing so I try to stay out of sight and shoot people if I know I have to. I started playing right after the bandit skin change was implemented so I'm used to people being this way but I still love the game, I can't wait till rocket finally does something with the humanity stuff that is still collecting in the background. We need a better way to make this not happen so much. I'm sure this isn't what he wanted thats why the bandit skins were there in the first place to stop senseless killing. But now its just caused EVERYONE to kill EVERYONE.. It's kinda lame. Anywho to the OP if you want a friend that you can trust to play with add me on steam sometime, same name as here.

We need more "good will" bandits lol. Shoot them damn DC'ers and server hoppers more please.

I have a few tents set near a deer stand and I've gotten 3 AKM's 1 ak47, 1 DMR, 1 M9SD, 1 mp5, and a ton of other crap. Maybe you should try doing something like that? Pick a server you like and only play there. Set a tent up in a location that only you would goto and start stockpiling gear :)
