You would be correct in saying that, I'm just saying that 1.7.2.5 right now is a pile of garbage.. tents dont work, vehicles don't work thats why our server isn't even running it. Like I said HL3 will be out before we get anything better than the garbage that is 1.7.2.5. Who knows when 1.7.3 will come out. Dev time has surely slowed down a TON lately but I'm sure thats due to the standalone, or rocket just being a boss now with all that cash hes getting.

I'm not sure if you guys responded properly, because the direct or "local area chat" works fine for other members on our server. You switch channels with the " , " and " . " keys and would of needed to switched to direct communication I believe.. I might actually be able to see any chat in any channel honestly, all I needed was an explaination just typed out. You hit / to start typing. If that wasn't working then I apologize. I saw what I saw and took action to protect the server just in case, but I do remember people being spawned as seagulls before so maybe it tried to do that to you and battleye just auto booted you. I have lifted the ban, you and your friend are more than welcome to return, I also sent you a PM to let you know this. all i remember was seeing you kicked for a "createvehicle=seagull" type restriction or something. Sorry for the trouble.

I will unban you, I saw a createvehicle thing in the logs and automatically assumed hacker, I apologize for jumping to conclusions apparently the game can try and spawn you as a seagull. You and your friend are welcome to play on our server anytime, your ban is lifted.

I fail to see how this is useless at all... In fact it is quite damn useful, making your vehicles harder for other people who would steal them to find. Quite useful if you ask me.

Vehicles are now on our server US 2126 with an instance ID of 8000+, the chopper though is nowhere to be found, did anyones chopper spawn with the rest of the vehicles? Or does the 7 day timer for the chopper start when the vehicles spawned? If anyone knows that'd be great. +beans for anyone who knows.

yeah get some friends and scan the map, it isn't hard to come across camps and vehicles.

Can we get an ETA on when the hive database will be fixed for all of us new server owners please? We aren't even playing the game right now because we can't have our vehicles. Just been playing lingor instead.

Yes I rolled back to 1.7.2.4 but still have the hive 0.7.3 and tents are saving fine now.

im trying to figure this out as well.. do we just delete the scripts.txt and it'll make a new one?

is the mission restart the one where you just do #restart while logged into admin on the game?

we are on day 5 without vehicles... this hive bullcrap is getting frustrating for us as well.. We just park our characters next to places where we know vehicles spawn and log in to check them, restart the server and check etc.. I've heard of people past the 7 day mark still without vehicles.. starting to lose faith in rockets ability to keep this game afloat.

Give him time, it is sunday afterall most people don't work on sunday. If he is doing stuff today he'll get you setup. Elpis is a great host and Tyler is great at doing his job. I just wish vehicles were spawning. It's been like 4-5 days since we got our server and still no vehicles spawned.. Rockets secret changes and crap to the game are getting frustrating as hell.
