This is a very good idea, the flock, or murder in the case of crows, of ravens could give away the position of a player and could be handy to players even if they didn't see the flock fly away they could tell that there wasa player/firing in the last 15 minutes.

the server i played on, is not on the server list anymore. :( It was one of the Noobclear Warfare servers, but i can't find it anymore.

Another way this could work is to be able to pick 1 or 2 skills in which your character would be proficient, and not have the perks be to extreme. For instance, a Soldier skill would give the player a %3 accuracy bonus when using two handed firearms, and a Doctor skill could decrease the time it took to use medical supplies by a small ammount, like 1-3 seconds, that way you could still have a perk system but not have it impact gameplay to much. Also, Priests should give you a "Cross"bow, get it? CrossBow?

Good idea, but shoud be based on days or weeks. It would be really cool to wake up in a car or even a tent with some hunting gear like a crossbow or whatnot.

I agree to a point, being sniped from 1200 meters away is very annoying. However, sniper rifles have been a very important part of day z and Arma Since the begining. it would be nice if sniping was made to be a bit harder, this could be done by having wind affect the bullet, as well as rain, and the Coriolis effect. As for choppers i would have to disagree with this one. choppers, like sniper rifles, have become sort of a status symbol in Day Z. While pros of a chopper often outweigh the cons, they are still very real and very present. having a chopper makes you a prime target for bandits and heros alike, as choppers are often associated with bases and top tier gear (ignore the rhyme) you will find yourself getting attacked more often than not when you possess a Chopper, also its fun to do back flips.

Zelengorsk is also a good place, not many people go there for some reason but it has a firestation, industrial, 2 grocery stores, and some nearby farms if your desperate. it amazes me how many times i go there and find enough weapons and ammo in the firehouse to completely destroy a server.

a prison wuld definitly add a new dynamic. players could hole up and take it over, players looking for equipment could search guards quarters, maybe even take a tip from merle and find some morphine in prison cells. only problem would be, once it's occupied, it would take a well armed force to assault it.

I Say we find every bullpup in existence and put it in the SA, Kidding aside though, the Tavor would be very nice. It Chambers 5.56x45mm Nato Rounds, is as big as an SMG, is compatible with widely availabe (in Day Z) Stanag Magazines, has about 3 varients including the M-Tar, which was modified to use a more common 5.56x30mm round in india, and the Star, which was designed to be a designated marksmans rifle. i think that this would be a wonderful weapon to have in the SA.
