Make Zeds investigate when audio-detected

Glad to see so many people like the idea. It just makes more sense that zeds should be more human in nature (although they're not human!): investigating origins of player locations. I believe Rocket made it so that zeds will investigate a player's where-abouts when they lose sight of them but it would be great to expand it into audio aswell going in the general direction and not necessarily to the direct location +1! -

Disagree entirely. TB has a time deadline to release videos - they bring an income in for him depending on how many views he receives. He doesn't have the time to play a game/mod the many hours we have to approach Rocket with detailed questions we'd expect. That applies to all the first impressions he does on his videos. You can't expect anything intricate because he simply doesn't have the time to do the research. -
A number of people have been having trouble with the latest update spawning as an invisible player. Chances are your game files are not up-to-date or incorrectly installed. This video will show you how to remedy this. Steps: 1. Download Six Updater - http://dayzmod.com/su.php 2. Open up Six Updater and navigate to the Mods tab 3. Locate @DayZ (should be in alphabetical order) 4. Right click @DayZ, updater actions, Install or updates mods (You may need to do this more than once so that both expansion/beta and @DayZ are installed) 5. If all goes right the status should change to a green Skip 6. Open the game via updater options, launch the game. Enjoy!

Hotfix Build 1.7.1.4 Rolling Update (was 1.7.1.3)

@Rocket - Please change the zombie agro back to pre 1.7.1. It's far too sensitive now and even the 1.7.1 patch is too sensitive. Before these patches it was perfect where we wouldn't have to crawl hundreds of metres rather close engagements. It made stealth an intense maneuver where as now it's tedious. Perhaps you could sensitize it a bit more than pre-1.7.1 but please change it, it's too much now. -

YES It adds a new challenge, people will learn to pick up guns as soon as they can. If they die too early they'll need to adapt to surviving longer. This would be a definite YES if melee combat or throwing objects was in the game. Also, it teaches people they should be armed when entering cities. They'll need to loot smaller places first. -

Hi, I'm getting this error when I'm trying to join the same server with two instances of the game installed on my computer. I've purchased 2 copies of Combined Operations because I intend to make some fun youtube videos. Does anyone know a work around to this?

I'm wanting to make some videos in DayZ and what I'm thinking of doing requires that setup. I've already got them installed in different locations but I have a feeling their registry key is the same.
