    It's not the message that's troubling me, it's the menu. I've already reinstalled and updated arma2. v1.11, v1.60, v1.62, beta patch, dayz. I'll try again tomorrow, but I feel like I'm on a wild goose chase here.

    Of course you can, actually did reinstall 4 times, updated my drivers once, because internet problems and after that I got mad xD Specs : intel Core i3-3220 3.3GHz (3MB cache) Windows 8, 64bit, IT 6GB2 DDR3 SDRAM @ 1600MHz 1GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 645 1TB (Dell) HDD (just another LG monitor) Don't really know the rest, I bought this Alienware (x51, cheapest one >_>) for my birthday several years ago. Drivers : GPU - nvlddmkm 9.18.13.546 (ForceWare 305.46) Motherboard - Alienware 08PG26 This is all I got. Hope it's useful.

    Hello guys. I'm not really sure what to say, other than the topic title. I did alot of research to see what I can do about this, and NOTHING worked. No patch worked, no registry edits worked, no other serials worked, nothing. I'm really desperate ; so if you read this, please, PLEASE answer me or direct me to someone who you think he/she can. Thanks <3 Now, to report the "symptoms" of this thing, whenever I enter the game, the screen is just coloured boxes, no text, no nothing. I can use the direction keys on my keyboard, or WASD, and ENTER. My cursor isn't visible, unless I alt+tab and open up something else, then directly alt+tab back to the game. Still, even after doing this (^^^^^^^^^^^^^), no text, other than coloured boxes. : /
