I had this issue so i manually updated the battleEye .ddl you can download from their official site.

So i have just started playing Dayz Harraarr, I joined a server Dayz bonfire#2 (Australain server) I was playing for a while good times, found a broken looking castle with med Paks and there was a pipe bomb in the showers I was like WHOOHOOO so I grabbed it and went on my marry way. About 10mins later the admin asked how i got a pipbomb i said i found it in the shower and i got banned. I mean someone must have brought it in illegally or something but without having any proof that i spawned it. Having the item in my inventory was a good enough reason for me being help accountable for it AND any other play using them (A player told me someone was bring them in). It just really pisses me of any idiot can be an Administrator. If nothing else may this warn you away from joining the idiots server Admin: srgt Shapes SERVER : Dayz infinite@ fookers-platoons.com

I managed to force a Steam client rollback this was achived by selecting beta v1.7.6- , Steam executed a small download. I then rolled back to v1.7.6.1 a minor Steam download as a result i could launch v1.7.6.1 instead of v1.7.6.-finalizing. I hope this helps someone else

Evening all, Please refer to the .jpeg shown below I am unable to connect to the DayZ servers, this error has presented itself for the first time tonight.I am assuming this error is a result of Steam updating critical files before my most recent attempt at launching Dayz .Does anyone know how to rectify this issue any assistance will be greatly appreciated, thanks for your time.
