  1. I am posting this just before the final step of redownloading the whole thing including Arma 2 and OA, and reinstalling it all clean and fresh. First of all, the problem: As soon as I log onto any Battleye enabled server, I get all 3 red lines and eventually into the game. 2 minutes later I get kicked from server "Battleye not responding." I have NEVER been able to play DayZ since day 1 on any battleye enabled server except walk a few meters before getting kicked. SO here is what ive done over the past few days... - Ive gone through all kinds of battleye updates to figure out if any work. - Ive downloaded all kinds of software including DayZ commander. - Ive used all kinds of recommended configs, start up parameters, etc... - Ive Installed and run my own private server on my computer with battleye enabled and somehow my server lets me play without kicking me. But thats LAN and inside my own computer. - Ive gone through all kinds of videos on youtube, forums and threads... - Ive gone through unblocking all kinds of ports and now run my computer on DMZ with no firewall running. Had to call my ISP to make sure they are not blocking ports. Also talking to them, made sure that the firmware on the router they gave me is fully updated with yet again no firewalls running. - I visited a friend to check out his DayZ and it works fine on the servers I get kicked out of. Lucky him, he has no trouble at all. Just install, update and play. OMG! I am currently downloading Arma 2 and OA and once thats done, Ill see how many more meters I can walk before getting kicked. After this, theres only 2 things I can think of left to do: Copying my friend's copy of the game over and checking that out, and if that doesnt work, the biggest decision, wipe hard drive and reinstall windows. FInally Heres the details to my setup, nothing flash: - Steam copies of Arma2 and OA. - Win7 64bit - AMD FX Quad 4Ghz - 4gig Ram - Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 Ti - Modem/Router = Orcon Genius NZ Extra details that might help -- I believe that there is nothing wrong with my computer or my install. I think its how Battleye communicates between game and the master server. Its not getting through somewhere in between. I have a hunch that my 'ISP supplied' router sends the data but portion of it may not be going through. My ISP Orcon(orcon.net.nz) runs many DayZ servers with people playing in them. So I dont know why I get kicked from ALL of them. I read somewhere that it might be something to do with data packets breaking down somewhere. I wouldnt know, its beyond my expertise. Im tired, gone through hell and have not come back. Please help. -- Kiwi
  2. Im moving on to my other post. Ill be updating there: http://www.gpforums....415#post9663415 So far it looks like its my router. Both an orcon employee and Bastian from Battleye say that it 'might be' and is a reported issue with the router. So in conclusion: >>> All fingers point to Orcon Router Genius with firmware Geniuslite1423. <<< The only solution I got is a firmware downgrade(with a possibility of bricking the router) to firmware version 1415. -- Kiwi
  3. @ Boneboys - I have disabled all anti virus, firewalls on windows, software firewalls, placed my computer IP under DMZ so its wide open, and checked and disabled any firewalls on my router. Also called my ISP to make sure they are not blocking ANY ports which they arent. @ orlok - Its been several days since Ive been trying to fix Arma2/OA/DayZ with no success. Everything works fine if I play my DayZ on my own battleye enabled private server using DayZ Controlcenter. But if I ever play DayZ or recently, OA (wastelands), on any battleye enabled public server, I get to only play for a few minutes and then 'Battleye not responding'. I have tried most if not all the youtube fixes(including the one you linked) and many fixes from forums and such. ----- Another thing I found yesterday is this link regarding my Orcon Genius modem.: http://www.gpforums....read/460713/?s= Quoting them .. "BattlEye sometimes shits itself over VC MUX/LLC, however bugs in the firmware have been confirmed as causing issues with BE too" The modem firmware has been updated to the latest version(several versions higher than the post linked above) but still with no luck. The modem is used by many Orcon(ISP) users and Orcon even hosts many DayZ servers. But all of these servers kick me after a couple minutes play. I have tried switching from VC MUX to LLC and back. With no luck. I have reset my router to factory settings and again with no luck. I hope Battleye fixes this. or Orcon fixes my modem. Either way Im waiting for a response from both. -- Kiwi
  4. I installed Play with SIX and installed DayZ from there properly. Got that bit working properly. Ive been able to play for about 40 minutes. Then more Battleye not responding error. Constantly. Sometimes I get 2 minutes of game time, sometimes I dont even get to join with the same error. I have a friend watch me as I connect and he says that I keep getting kicked with Battleye not responding. Someone please help me with this!
  5. I just rejoined that same server and played for longer than 2 minutes. Seems to be fine. I might install DayZ from DayZ commander and check that out on the server that kicks me all the time. It might be different now. Links http://www.worrom.com/ and http://armafiles.info/dayz/ were not responding for me so Im gonna use DayZ commander to install DayZ.
  6. OK Freshly installed Arma 2 and OA. Ran both games up to the main menu. I used DayZ commander to update Arma 2+OA to 103419 without installing anything else. Exited DayZ commander. Joined a wasteland server and Battleye did report updating to 1.192 successfully and said it restarted and initialized successfully in game. I ran around in that same server for 30 more or so seconds. Then... "Battleye not responding." At this point I will not touch DayZ until it stops kicking me even in normal A2OA games. Attached below is the ArmA2OA.RPT file that I heard might be usefull. I cant understand it much but maybe you can? _________________________________________________ ===================================================================== == C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\ArmA2OA.exe == "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\ArmA2OA.exe" ===================================================================== Exe timestamp: 2013/04/15 08:25:33 Current time: 2013/04/15 10:10:43 Version 1.62.95248 Warning: looped for animation: ca\anims\characters\data\anim\sdr\mov\erc\wlk\non\non\amovpercmwlksnonwnondf.rtm differs (looped now 0)! 7. Yes but not from a fresh install which I will do soon after download. Got up 6am and got a whole day ahead of me. XD
  8. Just a weee question... Does "Battleye not responding" actually mean what it says? I mean the server did not get a response from client? Or does it mean a lot of other things?
