Atm no. We are freely letting people play, We have considered the white list option, But I'd rather build a community of players before bringing in such a thing. And if hackers begin targeting us a whitelist may be brought in over night. If your keen on the vehicle just let me know, We'll get what gear we have into it and sort out a meet point

Currently vehicle count I'm assuming is what a usual hive would have, We have no real intention of changing from DayZ's normal structure unless we really have too. And to help entice some people to come play, We actually have a UAZ we are willing to donate to someone/s with some gear in it. Technically no they are not allowed to. With out proof the player spawned the item no ban can legally be placed. I run a private hive server, Any illegal weapons on it, Bet your ass your gonna be removed.

Pitch black is irrelevant as DMR works with Night vision. Also, If you haven't noticed, Players who have logged on at different times will often experience different varying levels of sunlight/darkness. Often when i'm playing with clan mates one guy will have pitch black whilst i have a full moon, If the pitch black guy logs off and on and is still black, then i log off and on and have pitch black as well. or Visa versa. AS-50 TWS? Put that shit down. You shouldn't care if it's legal to use a hackers weapon, Your essentially using a hacked weapon which hasn't been spawned by you making it IMO a Glitch, And your exploiting it to your advantage. Wouldn't surprise me if admin simply seen you with that gun and placed the ban. I'd do the same :)

Not true, A clan mate of mine lost his after murdering someone to get all their gear. It stayed on him during that game session, but after logging out and back in, It was gone.

Whilst we can't deny that some will use the hero suit to their advantage in anyway possible, I still hope one day, The hero suit can be a little glimmer of hope in a shoot first ask question later type world Chernarus has become. Perhaps it should be harder to obtain? Seeing as your humanity levels link over to each character upping the required humanity for the suit would be a good way to ensure only those who wish to help can obtain it? Bandit's I will shoot on sight, There is no if's and or buts. But if you have the standard civilian or a hero suit on, I will most likely still avoid you, But I also won't shoot you, Unless you start it. I try to help people if I can but It often backfires, I once gave a guy at balota airstrip my winchester, as i had a m24 in my backpack. He proceeded to blast me down as I left :( Still that's my mistake in being too trusting with a complete stranger. But theres been a few times, when i've been in chero or electro with nothing but meds on me (Blood bags, morphine, spare bandages and painkillers) and have wandered around with only an ax to defend my self and have helped and even saved some that have fallen to a broke leg or pinned in a one door way building by a horde. I enjoy helping people, But at the same time, I'm highly paranoid about them shooting me.

Oh really? Did not know that. I'd have noticed if the debug window let the food/weater/blood meters work i'd still have it up lol. So To clarify if you kill someone in a Bandit suit, Even if they them selves currently have no murders on that life, It will still count as a bandit kill?

Your frames will always drop when in built up areas. There is nothing you can do about it. Simply adjust your graphics settings to match so you get a steady flow whilst in the most built up area you can find.

So your telling me they fix one thing and fuck another? that's just fantastic.

Crashed choppers can spawn ANYWHERE that is NOT a built up area or forrest. No map will have said spawn points when they exist any where. Stop using a map and just cruise the open fields.

Ok so, I've repaired the chopper on my server twice now, And after a restart it automatically re-appears on the spawn point. After EVERY restart it appears back there fully damaged except hull. I know there is currently issues with vehicles/tents with the vehicles not saving inventory and tents have the same gear in them again upon restart. But vehicles on my server still save where ever left. Except for the chopper... Does it hate me? It ain't easy getting it fully repaired fuel and hidden at camp so our clan can use it the next night, Especially when I do it alone at 4 in the morning. Can anyone offer a reason as to why it keeps returning to the spawn point? Today's effort i repaired it (I was on the island with rotor/engine/windowsx9 in my backpack ready to go) So I logged in there it was. Repaired engine then rotor, Then I did all the windows. I jumped in too make sure it needed 4 scrap metal, But magically after doing the windows everything was in the green (It was all red but hull before putting windows on) I thought this was strange. Anyway i went back to elektro as i still needed fuel found 3 jerrys whacked em in flew to three valleys then spent 15 mins filling the chopped (Takes for ever by your self :\) Now half way thru filling the chopped i checked the time, And noticed my server was about to restart (6am my time) So i stopped filling it, I got in it, Hovered it in the air for a min then landed, I ever used the scroll/save (Which I know only works for the inventory but I did anyway) I then sat back and watched it as others where on server. After the restart which went as usual no hiccups, I logged in and chopper is gone, Back to island damaged :( WHY??? tl;dr Chopper wont save after serve restart, Why?

I'm not fazed where it spawns, I can even deal with it not saving it's inventory. But i'd like the vehicle it self to save!

Ok I assumed it would be something along that lines. But can you tell me why a guy i know who hosts a private hive server with same version I run my public hive server as and his chopper saves? It's there after every reset. Does that mean it's hive related? And i should essentially stop wasting my time with the chopper for now?

Cherno and Elektro Difficult? Son you must be playing the game wrong. The only threat in these cities is the PvP. Granted I've played for a few month and know them two cities like the back of my hand, But any newb can study the out of game spawn location maps before going in, And don't waste your time "Sneaking" so you don't alert the horde, Makes you a prime target for any newb who just found a makarov, And the snipers that I can guarantee you are watching from the hills. You talk of challenges? Starting off in Elektro/Cherno is the challenege, You got your bush wookies in the hills shooting you, You got the guys with assault rifles that come in to kill, And you've got a minimum of around 36 zombies if your the only one in the city. Chuck another player in the mix and the zombies jump to 80. You've gotta Kit up and make your exit with out taking a bullet to the head. Once you've done that? Hunt the snipers down. Go stary to kit up some more (If you haven't scored everything from a Fire station or Deer tower yet) Then come back down and flank the snipers. You'll save a newb or two's life and get satisfaction if they managed to pop you earlier. PvP not your taste? No probs, Don't sneak into areas then. Charge in, Attract the horde of any town you come across. If many zombies chasing you is not your challenge and pvp isn't your challenge your playing the wrong game.
