So, you missed out some major points. DayZ was a complete success, it was actually good. Not some half-arsed piece of shit that ended up as WarZ. Also, the developers hve worked an entire year trying to produce Standalone and you're denying them of the right to having a Christmas holiday. Sorry, but what? Alright, yeah, cool. You're off your head not going to lie. If anything they deserve a bloody holiday afterwards. They've spent the entire year trying to develop the game as quick as they can with an entire community continuously nagging and begging non-stop. DayZ isn't allowing people to get the best gear by buying it in game and getting a head start. So to conclude: A.) Don't compare DayZ to WarZ, They are nothing alike B.) Give the developers some fucking credit they deserve

If there was a way to swing in a different direction using the movement of a mouse. Then it will be worthy of my praise. But yes, I would like a knock back effect (10/10 For effort people)

The north is so vast and baron, I really love the way they've thinned out all the loot the further up you go. Also when tents are added hopefully they will be 10x more harder to locate up in the expanse of northern Chernarus. But. Why avoid people? People make DayZ fun, singleplayer would be so shit!

Baring in mind that other nation's could have come to assist Chernarus when the infection first started. Also Helicopter pilots? So that could be another reason to add them to helicopter crash sites, but giving the chance of them being damaged in the crash could be really awesome. Plus the new Chernarus looks like it's more military with DayZ SA so why not?

Vehicles are small touches to be honest. I'm not going to tell you that I don't want cars and helicopters, but I can wait until beta for them. Baring in mind there are various bugs that need fixing before they start adding shit.

So yeah,, I've been a pretty hardcore bandit, I killed about 7 people over a 3 hour period. Hey don't blame me, I'm trained to kill. I've noticed that with everyone of the kills, I go to collect the loot and when I access the gear his body just disappears and shits all over my bandit parade. Look, I know it's alpha but I just need to know if anyone else has had this bug. Thanks a lot, remember that I'm Demophon; You Can Trust Me ;)

Right, let's put this into perspective. The only reason AS50's were originally in DayZ was because of Arma 2. AS50's are military standard weapons that marksmen train to master. I don't think it's realistic when a random survivor picks up this 50 cal and without any experience goes on a killing spree, beyond the point... This weapon is used to penetrate light armoured vehicles and to shoot through walls. I don't think rocket should even think about thinking about adding it!

Me and my pal were making our way to the Northern West Airfield in hope of finding us some better equipment to continue our campaign around Chernarus. It was a chilly and dark evening, and as we were crossing an open field my friend perked up and pointed out the military base to the far south. Not taking any chances of being shot in the open field, we shouldered our axes and sprinted across the "Sniper's Wet Dream" of a field. I pointed out multiple sniper locations, over 3 hills and dozens of tree lines capable of covering any nut job with a Mosin.. We hurried to a gap in the once know wall that seemed to have a perimeter around the collection of military buildings. I was running for cover when I saw a distinctive looking crouched man in a military outfit walking into one of the multiple barracks. "Woah, there's a guy in there." "You sure?" "I'm positive." I looped around the barracks and crouched around the windows that peered into the rooms of the barracks. In the final room was our little friend. "Yep, he's definately there. Just now we don't have surprise on our side." Our friend quickly dived onto the floor in the corridor and my friend hosed him down with pistol rounds. But later on our victory was spoiled by his disapearing body and absolutely none of the loot from the kill We checked the barracks and collected supplies, this time treasuring two M4A1's with multiple attachments and military clothes and bags. "Nice, I think we're done here." I wasn't completely satisfied as I only had a smaller magazine with 10 rounds for the M4. "Let's go check the last building and book it." We headed towards the last two floor military base in the compound. A new pair of boots was all that we found on the first floor so we climbed up to the second floor My friend walked over to the side of the room to find a shiny object on the floor, "Ooh a can opener" I opened a door and saw a suspicious person that I though was my friend. "Hey, you find any mags fo-" I then turned to see my actually friend sat in the corner. Oh shit. I spun around and shot the imposter 7 times in the chest. He fell like a sack of potatoes, thinking that it was over I approached him, a sudden twitch and I put the remaining 3 bullets into his skull. I managed to get myself the ammo I needed and we just continued our campaign Thanks for reading ;)

Holy crap, I was not expecting there to be much of a flame war over this but generally this about probably about someone posting a topic purely to get attention from it... But; The worst thing we can do now is feed the troll, which we have done an amazing job at so far.. I'm guessing he's sat behind his computer screen with a cute little evil smiling saying "Muhahaha look at this flame war I have created" since he hasn't posted back to retaliate against people. Now people let's not forget it's a bandit forum. In this case he may have gone a little far with the cyber bullying but we can't do anything about that. Maybe it was his upbringing or something but there's no cure to being a dick over the internet. Another thing I was going to add was that Lee seems like a hardcore trouble maker, probably got one of those little behaviour record cards in school but the worst thing about this is that we're doing exactly what he wants us to do so let's just all chill out; recognise Lee for who he really is and continue with our important lives, eh'? Could any mod lock this thread? I just think it's for the best that we don't have a massive community gang up on some people even though it may be a bit deserved. KoS, I'm fine with that; you run into a player and you kill him. It's cool if you arrange to meet someone over side-chat and then murdering him (In my opinion). BUT... Luring a guy into a TS channel, arranging to meet up, the two of you gang up on him; then finally mocking him and calling him a loser simply for trusting you. Too Far.

It's a growing issue. Server's are unpaid for because of the lack of people. Then the lack of good vanilla server's go down so less people play DayZ. It's like on vicious continuous cycle of despair. No, I will not try Nether, Rust or 7 days to die. They just all seem like poo to be fair.
