Don't do it. I was fully geared at NE airfield spawned in and a fresh spawn was there asking me to kill him he wanted a different spawn, I said no i will help you loot and we can go travel some towns together, so i gave him a spare FNX i had in my backpack w/ ammo food, water looted a few hangers in the airfield he found a m4 he was excited as was i, We went to a town south west of the AF and as he was looting the house i was guarding the front door and while i was turned around he shot me and killed me. I learned this lesson a LONG time ago never trust anyone on dayZ but i had since given up that mindset with the SA lacking content at the time of things to do, Decided to be nice and possibly make a bud and he killed me the second he saw his chance. Now maybe some of you will understand why KoS is usually the result when you see someone. you cannt trust people he was friendly talking thanking me and etc then boom murderer out of nowhere. while this story is funny is nature it was quite pathetic he was already geared and i helped him gear their was no reason for the action. Think twice before you think someone is "friendly". they never truely are and why would u risk being proven wrong.

I've been reading a lot of posts about the "broken" game ( even though its alpha) and its really frustrating but i know that whole sentance was just repetative lol but anyhow my point is. People complain about the COD DM feel of the game or some towns why not treat your life on DayZ as if you would if u were put in the position of your character ( afterall that is the point eh ). Dont run guns blazing into a town scout it out. find the back of town the sides the main entrance popular buildings look for a bit before running in and go building to building looting and providing yourself with cover not running into town without scouting and run straight to hospital aggro 5 zombies that glitch through the wall the kill you ( and you come to complain) or draw attention to yourself and get killed ( and complain about the KoS in the game or the "hackers" ). I just really wish the game would be played the way it was meant to, would be so much more fun . need to implement something into the game that makes people want to stay alive suggestion would be nice here. which i realise that some people just get the rush of killing people and KoS'n will always be around regardless of incentive to stay alive or end game but that also makes it more exciting when running up to a town to scout first and map out where to enter and exit if things get hairy or what buildings you want to work your way to. Just my feedback may have alrdy been said so sorry if im rambling about already stated things but exspressing it yourself always feel better lol. thanks all

Yea its kind of true only fun in the game i suppose is the deathmatch style for most people so with that being the main focus i find it fun to try and survive through the chaos. hearing gunfire while im in a town or witnessing a holdup in the town that im in gives me a rush its fun to survive that for me anyway i dont wanna just rush into a town start shooting people and die rather quick not fun. fun to kill sometimes i suppose but not to die and re gear.

I thought SA was supposed to discourage kos? Every douche I see wants to kill immediately after your gesture and say friendly. Spend an hour to find a big town then get killed by some asshats

I am just irritated at playing for hours found my first gun last night and a payday mask was super excited had to log off to eat dinner got back on and spawned on the beach and had nothing. It's happened to me multiple times it get discouraging cause you don't wanna grind for hours just to lose your shit cause you log off for 20 mins :(

Anyone else having a bug for when you relog you respawn and lose your shit ?

Increase spawn of water! Or make the wells useable !

Yea laying for 1 hour on a black screen is crazy folks just respawn and re loot rinse wash repeat till bugs are fixed lol

Question peeps. Don't you think it would be smart for him to hold a open alpha weekend or day or 2 to stress year legity that way he has a better idea of server count he will need player count to be in preparation for and fps issues he is afraid of and etc.. Then take another week or 2 however long it takes to round those issues out? And it'll give everyone their dayz SA fix and get everyone (including myself) off the projects nuts ?

Yes he does, and it actually seems like he's playing the game rather than just showing stuff, it seems really complete enough for a alpha release i would more than enjoy the game in the stat of this twitch.

I agree, rocket said in one of the Q&A's when asked about if he had in his head a timeline of the release he said yes but doesn't want to say. Which is fine we all know why that is lol but if his timeframe was not for this year you would think he would of at least said that and if ground breaking work was done and it is released before 2014 he's a saint
