I can't use DayZ Launcher. It crashes no matter what I do. Still using DayZ Commander.
I can only get one server on overwatch on my dayZ commander which really sucks, i don't understand why only that one works though

With the changeover and dayz launcher being required
is there a technique too transfer all your mod folders over instead of re-downloading them all
thanks for replies in advance however can you be specific how to do it
p.s. it does say on settings in new launcher 'mod route' (or something) would that work if i just paste my mod folder link across?

to be real though, i think you did screw your processor. I popped open someone's PC once, there was so must dust inside... literally EVERY open space of the their tiny Pico case was ENCRUSTED with dust... well the CPU fan couldn't spin, so every time they turned on their PC it did the exact same thing you describe yours doing.
The CPU was shot outright, actually had a small bubble on the underside of the chip, so the board would post but nothing after that.
Yeah :/ im hoping i haven't broken it. It's not even a year old and cost me £200. The only other thing i could think of would be i screwed the mobo in too tight causing a power disruption?

OP, Does your computer actually Post after you turn it on OR does it attempt to Post then fail?
If it Posts then turns off, your issue is heating.
If it does not post at all, a part is likely ruined. Here, again, I'd assume CPU, but check ALL your connections, specifically shoddy connections for your case connector pins.
I CANNOT STRESS THAT ENOUGH, MAKE SURE ALL THOSE TINY LITTLE PINS ARE FIRM. Your machine can fail to start for something as small as a 1mm gap in these connections.
If you have an Intel CPU, full destruction is probably not the case. You can run an Intel CPU with no heatsink for a few moments without ruining it entirely, it will throttle down to nonexistance first.
If you're on AMD, you probably have a nice bowl of processor soup and will need new mobo and cpu.
I havent plugged a display in when starting it up just literally turning it on and then off. The cpu/mobo area does sound slightly different in noise (alot more speed/noise)
Yeah its an intel cpu so hopefully i have not screwed it up. Waiting on a part of the internet(fan connection wire) before i get a pro to have a look

a modern CPU has more power/performance on his 1x1cm than this....
you better visit a local computer shop...
a small tipp... build your own pc step by step with cheap or free collected parts... your first one has not to be a deepblue...
u learn alot by setting up a system by yourself and u cant really fail... but first search some tutorials on YT ;)

I built this comp myself , im fine puting it together but troubleshooting im not so good at (probably gathered that already)
Im waiting on one part to come and i will take it into the shop
just thought i'd attempt it myself to save cash.

my cpu is not broken as my computer is now firing up!
i will take it as a blessing , and will not be such a retard in the future!
what happens now is none of my fans are working only my heatsink fan :/ and the comp will fire up for 2 seconds shut down then start up again and stay on :/
any suggestions?

damn man that sounds not good... why the hell u renew the thermal paste?!
check all connectors... better make next time a picture before how it should look like...
Everytime touch a grounded metalpart befor working on electronic parts!
... and NEVER EVER use a vacuum cleaner for that! the static air kills your hardware...

i cleaned my heatsink fan and had to re new thermal paste!
i didnt vacuum it either :/
ive replugged all connectors but still getting nothing :/
if you turn on your pc with no heatsink over the cpu could that damage it ?

Hello all!
took my pc apart yesterday due to a split wire (previous post) also cleaned all my fans etc , removed heatsink and re applied thermal paste etc (mobo) taken out due to some problems refitting heatsink
Now after putting it all back together it just wont turn on!
When i removed fan the other day i turned it on and it would start up then cut off after about 2seconds , now it wont even turn on.
I've put all the cables back in the correct sockets. (i think)
Howevee im unsure of one which is the psu to mobo molex plug , there is two one has cpu written on side and the other has nothing! (top of the pic next to cpu fan).
Any ideas what could be causing this problem? (im not the best tech guy so unsure what to do)

Havent posted in a while but need your help!
Just cleaned my pc fans etc due to dust build up and my side fan connection has split from the connector bracket thingy (pic will explain)
i have scoured the depths of ebay but can't find what im looking for or even the name
so if anybody could tell me or link me to this part much appreciated in advance!

Problem solved thanks for your help i had epoch taviana commands in my additional search parameters , i feel like a tard
Take a screen shot of the errors :) The errors give clues as to what is wrong, without seeing it then i've no idea how to help.

Yeah my beta patch is stable and up to date & sorry but yes that's the version its telling me to download on epoch 1.0.2.3 , but im also getting errors on taviana and vanilla day z which is very confusing as everything is up to date

The Dayz mod is version 1.8, check to make sure you have that.
Once you do then you should see the servers showing in white in DZC, white means your version matches the servers, any other servers you will need to find out what they run and downgrade if needed.
Also make sure your beta-patch is 103718
If none of that works then take a screen shot of the exact error and post it here, good luck :)
