currently got chkdsk working but , its a brand new disk drive so i havent a clue

i was thinking i did an update to , however i di set up a new partition , and i have got all windows features available apart from the command prompt and the disk drive not performing ., how do i delete exising windows?

im using windows 7 ultimate sp1 64bit fresh installed an hour ago and windows install screens did all my drivers , and now when i chkdsk the disk drive it wont let me as i have not enough access :/

yeah windows has updated everything it had too, stil no internet conncetion though for it

right so just ordered my parts ofr my pc build however i dont want to pay £70 for windows 7 shoouldnt really ask this but has anyone got some sneaky tips to help me get it for free? also how would i install it if it's a fresh build

Hi just getting ready to start my fist pc build and was just wondering will this mobo > MSI H61M-P31 (G3) Motherboard Be compatible with this cpu > Intel Core i3 3220 (3rd Gen) 3.3 GHz Dual-Core I was just wondering as i read somewhere about a 1155 socket is only what intel cpu's will work with?? Any replies thanks in advance :)

would it be better to just go for an amd build , new mobo and processors and the price is significantly cheaper?

ok i'l save some money , but im guessing a bios update is needed on this chip too what is one of them?

, in building my own setup and money is a problem as im a broke ass student but after watching jackfrags build your own steambox i was thinking of completely copying his specs except putting it all in an acase twin engine case specs are1GB XFX Radeon HD 7770 Intel Pentium G850, Socket 1155, Dual Core, 2.90GHz LiteOn IHAS124-04 24x DVD±R Fractal Design Core 1000 500W Storm Silent LPJ19-25 MSI H61M-P31 (G3) Motherboard 4GB Corsair Value DDR3 PC3-10600 (1333) 500GB Seagate ST500DM002 Barracuda SATA 6Gb/s, 7200rpm Windows 7 64BIT Professional roughly works out at £300 which is my budget really just wondering will this comfortably manage arma 3 and the standalone when it released?? Also if anybody has any upgrades or better suggestions on the specs hit me up thanks for anybody who replies in advance

so if i change to a quad core i5 2500k and an nvidia graphics card they will all be compatible with one another (like mboard and graphic card) etc , in the a case twin engine ?
