Its DayZ, its raw and brutal, unfair and literly battle of survival. I am playing hero and a guy I met too late passed away literly in my arms, worst thing is, he never knew or found out I was a hero.We spotted eachother from the distance, zombies were already on him, I did not wanna shoot from distance risking hitting him, I sprinted towards him but as I got closer he fell on the ground uncounsious, I cleared the zombies but he passed away as I was bandiging him. Its DayZ, its like the Walking Dead, raw, brutal and unforgiving.

Very realistic when my character cannot live 6hours without stuffing his stomach with food and drinks. Very realistic that time in game moves as ours irl but hunger and thirst come in ever 2 hours. Some things just should stay not realistic. Not to mention that sometimes rains for 1 person and not for another who is right next to him.

Don't drop to their level.They are scums, and they will remain scums...don't become 1 of them.There are still good ppl in this game.

If you put heart attack, that affects the running, you cannot run nonstop, which affects your hunger and thirst (which are not in any way even close to irl) cause you should run faster to get to the other town to find food but you can't cause you might get a heart attack which forces you to walk, but if you walk, you will die from hunger/thirst.The normal human body does not require food so often, water and drinks yes but not food, no matter how much you run.Anyway see the chain of problems one thing can make?

Idk about others and about those who love to get into gunfights often but my suggestion is.Once the game gets more features, items and guns, a extension of the map would be amazing, more bases, more buildings more abandoned cities and towns.It will really give that feeling that you are alone in the world.Encountering other players will be more rare which will increase the impact and make it intence especially if the 2 players are not on the same page.Make it will island and loading screens if it has to, (Which I think its not easy) but I really think this will make the game less deathmatch and pvp than most players make it, and more like travel, scavenge, survive, search, explore.

I usually roam around there, there is plenty of places to scavenge if you know where they are.I am pretty good scavenging there. And I really think bigger map will make people to panic or be more friendly when encountering, since they wouldn't want to roam around alone.Except people who play in groups.

PM me, I can show you a few places, you will never ever ever encounter anyone there.Atleast I haven't for like the 20 something times i went there.The chance for guns there is average but, huge possibility for gun attachments and suplies.

heart attack...Implementing stuff like this can ruin the game. Heart attack chance in real life is so low, running for hours will not get you a heart attack.Unless you are unhealthy, chobby, smoker and drug addict. I am fearing the developers have no idea about heart attack in real life and when can it happen.So this scares me that it might be a game breaker. P.S. stop making stuff too overly exagurated realistic that create a chain of inconvinience with stuff that are not realistic.Its ruining the game.

Please do not put hearth attack feature...it will create inconvinience

You can see my PC stats in the image.All though I still have low and dreadfull FPS , sometimes low to like 12fps. I have to disable tons of options to get good fps but making my game ugly. ...I am pretty sure my PC can handle this game.So what am I doing wrong? P.S. I have the latest drivers including the latest Nvidia drivers.

Ahh ok, somehow I had a hunch my video card was the problem.It was cheap and I knew its probably not so good, but I ran out of money after I bought the PC. Don't have the budget for a better video card right now, will have to gather some I guess. Hope atleast my PC is decent. Its no I7 but still...costed me quite alot of cash.

As long as people exist there will not be peace. People are egoistical, competative, hypocritical, envy, greedy and dayz is one of top 5 places where these behaviours are most shown. Such a shame the world didn't end in 2012.

Finding eachother and stuff is ok for me... What i hate , and what keeps me away from playing is the playerbase...turning this into deathmatch z.Shooting everything that moves, running around not caring about zombies, no tactics intented , no stealth intented, just derping and shooting. From the start people go to the balota airfield , grab a gun and start shooting at new spawns. Other people go up north, grab a gun and shoot everything that moves. Just really makes me to dislike the majority of the community of this game.

This is what i think...yes removing the fast running zombies is good cause god they could set a new record of speed. but these zombies are kinda slow yes...and yet their detection is kinda questionable... This is what i think they should do - zombies eye of sight should be low , 10 - 20 meters max - they should give up chasing you the moment they lose sight of you (going behind/in/around walls , buildings ext) - if you gain distance from them , they should give up on chasing - should not be able to open dors , climb laders and go up stairs in buildings...they are not smart after all...they are just blood thirsty. - keep the low number of zombies even in tons , gives more of a wasteland feeling than zombie town.

Hello, I have Day Z since almost a year now and did not have the PC to support the game\s heavy system.Now I do and i am looking for a clan (teamspeak would be fantastic) I am friendly and don't shoot others unless threatened. I currently am stealthy and try to remain in the shadows. I am from EU so EU servers almost for me. Let me know if any clan has a spot for me or a server with cool ppl (not shoot on sight just for the lolz)

Please help , For like months i cannot get the game to run smoothly with atleast fair graphics.No matter what I do , i get terrible frame drops , even freezes sometimes , maouse lag , shooting lag , noise lag , you name it. No matter what options i change or how much tutorials i watch to increase performance , it just stays the same.Poor performance. my PC stats are: Dual Core 2,40Ghz GeForce Nvidia 1gb HD Ram 4gb (3gb active , 1gb consumed by graphic card) Windows 7 All drivers installed Please help , i paid a fortune for this game...and i can't even play it x_x

I've had this game for like near 6 months now and still i can't get myself into it.First I had tough time configuring the perfomance of it and second , i can't find a server to satisfy my requirements. I love after apocalypse (huge Fallout series fan) and zombie (huge Resident evil and Walking dead fan) but ...i have tough time to find a server to bend in and play for a good while cause of some reasons i will explain , so please if you can recomend me one...or...if wanna accept me in your clan or something , i would love it. - I suck at PVP , I am very good at sneaking , very cooperative , extremely resourceful but i am terrible at PVP and always has been since little boy gamer.I developed my skills way more on PVE than PVP. - I hate hate hate hate people who shoot on sight , especially when i am running around with only a flashlight in my hand. - I am looking for a server where not everyone shoots on sight...somewhere where people use their heads instead of their COD skills.This ain't COD! And no no , not friendly servers with no PVP , cause that would be a little boring but no 100%pvp servers eather... - Less zombies...alright...these things can be so annoying zig zagging , going through walls and infesting the towns.Seriously , their AI is broken , they run like hell and they spot you from miles. - If there is a server where zombies don't run I WOULD LOVE IT! After all they are zombies , they barely walk cause their minds are almost dead and cannot process most of the things they see. - TS3 , yeah would be cool if i blend in some group of active Day Z players. Would really appreciate some recomendations.
