    Comic Series: Nooby McNoob

Thanks guys. I enjoy planning and drawing Nooby's adventures, this most recent one dipped his boots into a more emotional river. I'm not always sure which direction the comic will take as the theme transforms with each new sketch. I do like the DayZ scheme as it allows the character to die and respawn a thousand times.

    Comic Series: Nooby McNoob

This one is a tad dark. But sometimes, DayZ can be that way... Nooby McNoob visits a Friend, Episode 11: http://db.tt/oRsBpxl1

    DAYZ Lego Creations.

I'm currently recreating the "Battle Eye Warning Message" in Legos...
  4. I bought the "Logitech MX Anywhere" mouse which has a center button beneath the scroll-wheel, and 2-"buttons" activated when you nudge the scroll wheel left or right. The configuration software works for Arma2, those extra mouse buttons do what I want in Arma2 (G-gear, R-reload, V-vault) but they don't work when I run DayZ. Is there something I need to trigger, script, load? Help please! p.s.: I'm a lefty, that is why I use the symmetrical mouse as opposed to the "right handed contoured" mice everyone else can enjoy.
  5. Problem = Solved. Holey Moley, that took ages! For the Logitech MX Anywhere mouse, it uses the "Set-Point" software to set-up the extra mouse buttons and how they interact with different programs. BUT, those mouse buttons won't do anything unless you enter in all of the various EXE apps that the program will "search for" and then make the buttons specifically active (in the particular configuration you wanted). Thought I had all of the EXEs listed, but apparently did not. After just piling in nearly everything that touches DayZ to run and resetting the computer, it worked. Terrific... because I was "this" (millimeter) close to buying the Steel Series Sensei mouse... Ah well... Maybe just each lunch for a month instead.

    Had a 'Merle' moment

Did you then cut off your own hand at the wrist with a hack saw, cauterizing the stump with a stove burner, then cap it with a "Swiss-Army thermos"?

    Comic Series: Nooby McNoob

@Leviski & LoK: Thanks, glad you are enjoying them. Yeah, there "might" be a little taunting with DayZ streamers in the comics, but it is all in good fun. Those guys expect it, and there's no such thing as bad marketing as a YouTuber.

    I need alot of help

...and a plural M should not have a possessive apostrophe
  13. I'll definitely give that a try. Thank you
  14. Stink'n POS Setpoint Logitech ghetto crappolla MX Nowhere-mouse still doesn't work (button-wise) in DayZ. Feel like smashing it with a hammer to vent my frustration. I know there's a solution, but there doesn't seem to be a clear path to it. The extra buttons work in Arma2, and in other programs, but in DayZ - NaDa, Zippo, Zilch. Hmmmm maybe I need to have Set Point "see" DayZ Commander? Okay, once more into the breach!

    Hideouts (modification of existing structures)

I was thinking more in lines with the 1960's version of the entrance to the BATCAVE. You'd drive up to a roadblock/bushes and an action would become available for them to "swing aside" - and then you drive into a subterranian hideout.

    Tandem Bicycle in DayZ

The "old bike", like the trusty hatchet, is one of the perfect items in DayZ. The bike is silent, doesn't need gasoline, and moves pretty quickly over grassy areas. Plus, it is pretty easily hidden. Problem is, it only seats one survivor. How about a tandem bicycle (see linked jpeg): http://db.tt/5zPJzpm7 You can have two survivors travel in full stealth mode (it could still operate with one survivor) - and is still easily hidden.
