Use the search function. This is well known and on purpose; it's due to the sights failing to compensate for the different muzzle velocity of subsonic rounds. -

They aren't doing anything against the rules. Private Hives are just that: private. Also, if you expected Simon and Lewis to give anything resembling a serious or accurate overview of a game, you're barking up the wrong deer stand. -

Define "safe". Nothing is truely safe in Day Z. From players or glitches.

Vehicles are capped; you can only find a new one spawned on the map if a current vehicle is destroyed. For parts, you can try The Factory south of Berezino; it's not as popular as many of the other heavy industrial spawn points, though you should still be careful.

Sorry for getting so harsh about it, but addiction is a serious issue. A lot of people forget that video games are specifically designed to be addictive as part of their fun. There are quite a few people who do think that people who have problems quitting games just need a girlfriend or a life, without realizing it's a neurochemical dependancy. I try to fight that sort of thinking where I can find it, and it's often hard to tell the difference on the internet. Peace. -

Well if you're in the market for one, I'd probably do something like "balancing early and end game" or "scaling difficulty between players: why pvp is a vital part of Day Z's endgame" -

You're already wearing body armor. That's why you can take two small caliber rounds to the chest without dying.

Maybe you need to stop judging how other people live their lives and the issues they deal with? You certainly don't seem to be in a good position to do so; if your response to someone who is worried they are developing a serious addiction is that they should get a girlfriend, you have a lot more problems than the OP. -

There's nothing psychopathic about enjoying Day Z, people. Playing games, like seeking thrills or being in dangerous situations, releases endorphins that can become habit-forming to people with certain neurochemical and psychological profiles. Let's face it: if this game wasn't fun and addictive enough for you to want to do it again and again, you wouldn't still be here playing it, especially after all the hackers, glitches, and people playing in ways that diagree with you. OP just needs to start regulating his game play, and if he finds he can not, to take stronger measures like uninstalling or asking someone for help. -

Treat it like you would any other behavior. If you think it's starting to cause problems or get out of control, you need to stop it. This should be common sense. -

From another thread on the subject. This has actually been really a really insightful view. I've always viewed "fast zombies" as a dumbed down bastardization of the original archetypical manifestation of the inevitability of death. I'd never considered that their artistic merit could lie in shifting societal fears from the unknown external factor to the unknown social other in our ever-increasingly interconnected age. It's not enough to make me love them right off the bat, but it's artistic merit I hadn't thought fast zombies possessed before today. Also, engine limitations are a B. Rage "zombies" are a different kind of fear than slow zombies, and the engine just can't handle the numbers we'd need to do slow zombies right anyway. -
LOVED the TF2 music! It fit perfectly. Can't wait for part 2.

All these new bugs are fun to see. I hope they get fixed soon, and it sucks for the people that got hit by them, but I'm glad I got to see them before they were patched out.
